This game has a ton of potential. I hope it'll be as fun as MvC2

Two more characters have been announced.

Karas from the anime of the same name and PTX-40A from Lost Planet: Extreme Condition.

It's also been confirmed as a Wii exclusive (which pretty much killed 90% of the interest I had in the game...)

Wii exclusive characters have also been announced.

Hakushon Daimaou from the anime of the same name and Jun the Swan from Gatchaman.

Also, Roll was announced. Roll from Classic, that is.

Played the game today and...er...it was...cool, I guess. But the GC controller is the worse thing ever for 2D fighters. Should've been on PS3. (yes, PS3 only. 360 controller is also horrible for 2D fighters)

Apparently, Frank West is a playable character in this game.

The X Series version, no less. Now we have a Legends character, an Original character and an X character.

Now I'm kind of getting excited.

Also, Joe the Condor from Gatchaman is in!

Zero fits in quite well in this game.

So far the Original, X and Legends series are in the game, we just need a character from EXE and the Zero series to get all the Mega Man games representable. If this were to be the case, who to vote for.

EXE, I say Colonal would fit in best.

Zero, Harpuia, why, it would be cool if you could pick Joe the Condor and Harpuia to be in a team.

...Protoman EXE IS Zero. Long hair, big sword, jerkass. Don't see why you need two Zero's in a game.

And we already have enough Mega Man characters in this game (we have enough Gatchaman characters too). There are other Capcom franchises that could get in too, ya know?

I picked it up on release, got my pack of cards and ran home. So far, I am very impressed. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is fun and smooth. Only 3 attack buttons makes things a little simpler, too. I am naturally taking a liking to Mega Man Volnutt, and I have yet to unlock Zero. From what I hear, he lacks both power and vitality, but I'll work around that!

Nintendo has never been the company to promote DLC, but according the devs, they are looking to put Phoenix Wright into the game, if Nintendo allows it. Before anyone goes off and asks how he could possibly be a character, I've got two words for you:

Captain Falcon.

Captain Falcon's a bounty hunter though, not an attourney.

But anyway, for those who play, which characters do you use? I'm still using my team from the japanese release which is Casshern or Karas with Tekkaman.

I'm definitely sticking with Tekkaman myself, as I have taken quite a liking to him. As for a partner, I will most likely be switching around between Mega Man Volnutt, Ippatsuman, and maybe Frank West/Joe the Condor when I unlock them.
