Has anyone here seen When the Cicadas/Seagulls Cry yet?

If you guys haven't, I really recommend that you do! Really! At least give the first 4 episodes of "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" a watch! I guarantee, you'll want to keep on watching! Hollow, Doc, Necro-whoever, if you're reading this, please give these 4 episodes a watch, for me, please!? If you do, I'll draw you a picture of your choice! Don't be put off by its weeaboo-ness, I know you'll really like it! Promise! Just copy and paste the title and add "ep 1" after it in Google.

I've seen Higurashi and it's sequel, Kai. I really want to see Umineko (especially since the first season finishes on the 23), but I feel like I'll be left in the dark until the second season finishes, assuming that this first season will contain all the questions arc and all, just like Higurashi.

I watched it, got severely confused, finished it, and remained stupidly confused. I kind of liked it but kind of didn't. one of those "how can they keep dragging it on" kind of series haha XD

Did you only see the first season (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)? If so, you need to see the second season (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai), since it answers the mysteries of the first season. I really did like the series, though! It's very psychological! XD

It's pretty crazy, eh? Those first four episodes really caught my attention and kept going afterwards, with absolutely no regrets!

I hate yaoi with the fury of a thousand suns, and all fangirls associated with it (and the few fanboys, I dunno which is more annoying honestly)

Uhhh, Kyo Kara Maoh isn't a yaoi.... It's a comedy series, you should check it out 8D

[Tidbit of the first Season]

Kyo Karo Maoh! begins when Yuri intervenes upon finding his former classmate, Ken Murata , being bullied, and intervenes allowing Murata to run away, but getting his head dunked in a toilet by the bullies instead. When his head enters the water, he is sucked into the toilet, and ends up in another world. Waking on dry land, he initially assumes that he is at a theme park, because of the medieval-style clothes the inhabitants wear. Thus he finds out he is the Maoh, the Demon king of Shinmakoku and has to lead the future of the Demon Race to peace.

Well, I haven't seen the anime yet anyways - I'm just taking the word of other people who told me about it. If it is comedy and stuff, perhaps I'll give it a watch sometime too. How you describe it, it sounds interesting.

I think even the dubbed version from Funimation was released about 2 or 3 years ago. I guess it's just like what you said before (sorry, paraphrasing here): 5 years ago, saying (something taboo 5 years ago) would get you banned instantly, but now no one really cares. lol
Higurashi is probably one of the most popular anime out there, probably for quite some time.

I know, I understand. With your job, managing Interordi and other personal life matters, I shouldn't be piling stuff on your way - these are things everyone, including myself, has to take care of. But when you have time, I mean, you should finish the rest of When the Cicadas Cry. It's just too good not to share. I still have to get Hollow to down the series as well. XD
