I choose:

- Fear Factory (suits the X series in my opinion, especially X4)
- Guns n\' Roses (considering Capcom\'s fandomism attitude)
- Emperor (for those majestic battles)
- Napalm Death (reminds one of the more brutal Mavericks)

I said it before and I\'m saying it agian: I really don\'t want to see any of that stuff in any Mega Man game... I would rather have TRUE videogame music.

It depends. Some (not much) would be Queen. I think that the way Brian May plays in the end of \'We will Rock You\' would suit it.

I don\'t know who did this but I think this would be in the game:

I say this because it is the same for in MMX1 and Xtreme.

I\'d say pillar music will do best in the battle scenes. ^_^

I would have to agree with Manchester Devil with Guns n\' Roses. Man, I haven\'t heard that band\'s music in a LONG time. But, like I would really want to anyways:P.

Woohoo! Heavy duty!! :P

I should add Fear Factory, Emperor and Napalm Death to that list. To be honest, I don\'t see P.O.D. as \"heavy duty\" and I have heard some of their songs and Metallica\'s later efforts since \"Load\" are frowned upon by many Metal fans. (Go to a Metal website and ask what they thought of Metallica.

Ideal songs (examples):

Zero Signal (Fear Factory)
Welcome to the Jungle (Guns n Roses)
The Icing of the Hate (Napalm Death)
Decrystallizing Reason (Emperor)
Soul Sacrifice (Cathedral)

...now that\'s what I call HEAVY F**KING DUTY! :D

I\'d say Linkin Park, only because both them and the X games are full of angst. XD

Sometimes I wonder, what if we took the warning labels off of everything? Can you imagine how much more entertaining life would be?

the best bands suit whith with x series are the power metal bands like statovarius, sonata arctica, hammerfall, gammaray, dragonforce, even the famous \"x\" theme form x-japan,etc,etc and etc.

x-japan is pretty cool. Chaos would make a good fight theme.

My personal suggestion: Malice Mizer, Gackt, and the Pillows.

Heres why:

Malice Mizer-you gotta love Japanese gothic punk rock
Gackt-his music is very powerful and yet still graceful
The Pillows-they have so much emotion in their music and the melodies stay in your head for a LONG time

For instrumental music, i would say go with a really good techno or trance artist, my personal favorite being The Cynic Project

i suppose linkin park would work. i do like several of their songs. their music works good with final fantasy AMVs.
