In MMX3, based on how you play the game will explain a little more about Dr. Doppler\'s disappearance....more like his death. At the end of MMX3, X gets trapped at a dead end in front of him and a lot of lava following him at the hands of the Sigma Virus. Sigma then plans to posses X until Zero uses an Anti Virus vaccine which was put in his Sabre, then used it on Sigma, deleting his program. With that, X and Zero flee the scene. But what would happen if you killed Zero off during the gameplay? If that happened, Zero would be unable to rescue X at the \'dead end\' after the battle with Sigma. All hope seems lost until

One could assume that the other character is taking care of other minor threats like the rest of the Hunters likely were... or some other role at HQ.

After I beaten the Mavericks in my ROM (don\'t yell at me, Cossack) after I beaten ALL the Mavericks, some chat time with Cain reveled his exsintine. I used my voice imitation of an old man to do his voice! Proof? Yes!

As for Doppler: Dead, dead, dead. Cain (or Dr. Light, or Dr. Wily) might rebuild him.....
