So as most of the ladies on the server know, I am trying to make an all girls club on the server. Every female is invited, and no boys.
I have proposed the name EnderGirls. If anyone else has name ideas feel free to post them.
If I haven't yet invited you please don't feel like you aren't included, I just forget to check if girls are online a lot, and it's hard to keep track of who I have an have not added.
If everyone wants, also, I propose that we make an all girls town. Not necessarily to live in, but to make all girl with no boys to object. This is mainly because I like pink buildings.

It's a joke. That's the whole point. Btw I don't get what you mean by 0/10 but most of the girls thought it was funny and have already decided to join.

I don't think it's elementary at all. :) I really like the idea of the women on the server chilling out together. Sometimes in online gaming spaces, it can feel a little bit isolating, since so many are dominated by guys. It's nice to be able to hang out with other girls. It's all in good fun. As long as the club is inclusive of all women, it sounds like a nice way to meet and bond with many people on the server I haven't interacted with.

Gender always matters, Doc. Whether we want it to or not, the females are treated differently than the males. In any case, the point isn't to alienate boys. The point is for the girls to feel a little LESS alienated. Too often the Minecraft (and all video game boys) say that girls don't play. This is just a good way for all of the females to solidify they idea that playing MC doesn't make them weird, and there are other girls just like them playing. Also ruffles and tea parties. Kind of wanting the ruffles and tea parties.

Gender always matters. It helps color our view of the world and of other people, and it provides nice diversity! Minecraft is a game where we can express ourselves creatively. Personally, my gender applies to how I choose to present myself or how people present themselves to me. It's an educated guess that most people who play minecraft are guys. Most popular minecraft users are also male-identified. So for girls and women and fem-id'ed people want to hang out and create a small, decidedly "girl" space, it's empowering and fun for us girl minecrafters.

To be honest, I don't always know who is girl or boy. I thought Windrider was a chick when I first started, and I've gotten it backwards on a couple of others. Plus, I've been mistaken for a chick by at least one player

I think it is a smashing idea, and I think I will start an ADHD only club.

I feel discriminated against.
