Alright, that's one more area down! This next area is the second to last! Good job guys!

Map's been updated to show the new area.

In this area, we start to come across player structures we are NOT destroying. They are outlined in WATER, NETHERRACK, and WOODEN FENCE. Do NOT edit anything within these areas. PLEASE be very aware of where you are in coordination to the map and construction map. Remember, editing player structures without permission IS greifing.

To start, again, cleanse the highlighted area of all random piles of cobble, strange dirt mounds, ect. We'll also be covering any random holes, strange pockets of water/sand, or exposed stone with dirt.

Once all that has been finished, we'll be terraforming this land once again. Remember, we want to keep the natural look of the area, while bringing it down enough and taming the curves enough to build easily.

This area we will be bringing to a maximum height of Y=70 to account for higher hills.

Still, drag out slopes to get rid of their steepness, make curves in the landscape more fluent and unbroken; while avoiding long strips of straight edges, corners, perfect curves, or other unnatural shapes. This part will be difficult at first: We want to keep things looking natural as we artificially shape the land, as it were.

Also, please be aware that Dr. Cossack is leaving Cobblestone Fence markers around the areas we've done already, in preparation for the roads. DO NOT DESTROY THESE.

Please ask questions if you're unsure on anything, and make sure everyone working on this area has seen this post before they try to help.

There is a chest on a small mountain next to the public far that needs to get removed... it is freakykid0.... whoever that is. I moved onto the last area that hasnt had work on it yet seeing how i believe i finished the current work area tonight. so that is where the mountain is.

So I tricked you guys a bit~

The current area of construction is completed, and thanks to the efforts of Septina and myself, the remaining area is also completed!

The terraforming stage of the Central Expansion is hereby finished, and with it my part in the project. From here on out, Dr. Cossack will be laying the roads throughout the areas, and plotting out the land. Please give him any help if he asks for it, and refrain from building in the expansion areas until this stage is complete.

I'd like to give a thank you to everyone who'se been involved so far and either helped out or donated, with a special thank you to Doorgunnerjgs and Septina, who, I can safely say, did a major portion of the work themselves. All of you guys are awesome, and we couldn't have gotten this done without you!

If you have any questions on what to do further, please direct them to Dr. Cossack- it's his show to run now!


-Note The wall around central isn't 100% done as of writing this message, as you can still see in some areas. I'll be completing that outside the parameters of the project going forward. MY WALL.

That went much faster than I expected overall! Great job everyone, and thanks again to Sora for diving into something I wanted to see happen but didn't really think possible!

If someone is looking for extra work to do, it might be a good idea to grab some stacks of dirt and head to Mt. TopHat. While I don't want the shape of the mountain changed, the endermen removed several blocks of dirt before that ability was disabled. As such, it'd be great to patch all the holes that appeared on the top and sides of the walled area.

Road planning is underway and will continue in the coming days!

I hit two of the mountains already to fix that, I can have tophat done in minutes when I get back. Also doc, can you PM me when you get on? Gotta ask you about some paths out the city I was looking to do

It is done!!

Central has now about tripled in size over its original territory!

If anyone was looking to build a house in the city, there are now a lot of nice terrains available around the northern district and in the expanded areas, closer to the city's park. Some might also be interested in the hills located west, on the other side of the river.

Those wanting to build shops should look at the Commercial district, newly extended. Note that it'd be nice to see more shops with actual stock ready for purchase or exchange, and fewer empty buildings.


There are now three tram lines for people to travel more quickly around Central. All three start as subway lines under Grand Central Station before emerging at ground level alongside streets.
- The Residential Line heads north, past the Community Center and stretches past the party park (currently hosting the Christmas elements) to end near Central's boardwalk.
- The Commercial Line goes south, dropping travellers in front of Tex's Creeper Bazaar before continuing alongside the newly expanded Commercial district.
- The High Line heads west, under Mt. TopHat, before slaloming around the hilly terrain, stopping at Lon Lon Ranch, then coming to an end at the city's wall and the Western Expressway.

As before, the train lines heading out of town are all on the top floor of the station.


Of course, some things will change here and there: planning a city is an ongoing project, never quite complete. :)

Sora and inflammo, once you have the chance, I remind you that some clean-up is due in Central's main wishing well. I believe you wanted to move most of the supplies inside the warehouse behind the Community Center. That might be a good idea, as several chests and signs could then be removed from the main wishing well's room. Too many entities in a localized areas causes slowdown for some players.

I've always been a tad confused as to the commercial district. I obviously know where the stores are at, but how far/where does that "district" area cover. Had always thought about starting a shop, just needed to figure size/location. Though where the Courthouse was is a nice little plot :)

You're entirely correct: the limits of the district aren't that obvious. The brick gates at both ends of the street were meant to show those limits, along with the use of stone brick slabs instead of cobble, but those items don't stand out enough. The space filled out rather quickly, too. As such, the entire boulevard where the Creeper Bazaar stands is now part of that district as well. The expansion gives us room for larger buildings, as needed.

I plan to update that area, maybe tonight or tomorrow, to make its new limits way more obvious.
