I have been rather busy since the school year has started up again, and I find myself shot on time to join the server. In an attempt to communicate with you fantastic individuals, I have turned my attention to the flash chat client. However, much to my dismay, I am having issues connecting to/using the client. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you're trying to connect from school, it's likely that they have a firewall setup to prevent the chat connection. Try using the AJAX client instead, from the same page. It has less features, but basically allows connections from anywhere.
