[font=Tahoma] Did anyone play CotM for the GBA? I was thinking of getting it after rereading the review on some game sites. It says it had the newest features that\'d make it the \"best\" among all of the previous Castlevania titles, although the graphics are watered down, due to the limitations of the GBA itself. However, I also remember someone saying it was a very hard game to beat, which is good. Can you guys gimme some general feedback on the game?

And as the sub says, the sequel to the game just came out over here. Any of you got a hold of the Japanese copy? And konami unusually used the \"Castlevania\" name ( or Kyasuruvania in katakana ) for the domestic version, instead of the \"Akuma jou\" or \"Dorakyura Densetsu\" -ish name. What the hell is that all about? [/font]:(

I have played CotM..yes. It is a SotN clone..watered down. And both games are pretty easy, in my opinion. I don\'t think Konami knows how to make hard CV games anymore. x.x It\'s an alright game though..I\'m not saying it\'s horrible. It has double tap dashing though..and whip lag.

I um...well uh..I\'ve only heard things about Harmony of Dissonance or whatever they decided to call it.. The music is considered \'good NES music\' by some.. The graphics are better than CotM\'s..but I don\'t really care about that. It\'s just another SotN clone though..it really doesn\'t interest me too much. I\'m waiting for an old school game..

As for the Castlevania thing...they\'re doing that because they don\'t want the title of the games to have Dracula in them anymore... For some reason, they\'re going to start making the last boss NOT Dracula.

HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT GOING TO WORK, KONAMI?! o.o This endless struggle against Dracula..just thrown down the tubes because your artists can\'t design yet another blue demon for him to transform into? =P I dunno why they\'re doing that..but they are..

Castlevania... Ah, those are some kick-ass games. I rented CotM and beat it, and I have SotN and beat it, along with Castlevania IV and V. All of the games are pretty good (Chronicles wasn\'t great, though, and Dracula X was only slightly above being mediocre.). I am definitely going to play HoD... and when in the hell is Konami going to figure out that people in the US want to play Rondo of Blood!? Remake it and ship it here, Konami!!!

No, no Doc.. I\'m saying that Japan changed the name of the series to Castlevania..and it -used- to be Akumajou Dracula. They are deciding to change the last boss for some stupid reason...

I don\'t know if Dracula will even be in the games anymore, even though that makes NO sense. Who are we gonna fight now, Drac\'s higher up? Who happens to be Satan I\'d think...heh.

As for the Rondo of Blood remake... For one, Rondo is WAYYYY overrated. For two, it will come over here if sales of Castlevania Chronicles were good, I believe. But first..Japan has to get it, neh?

The Castlevania Series was one of the first sets of games I played. Needless to say I think they all kick ass! I\'m looking forward to Harmony of Dissonance/White Night Concerto/Whatever they decide to call it, because CotM really caught my attention, like SotN did. And from what I read it just seems awesome. I may have to preorder that tomorrow when I preorder some other things.

From all the Castlevania games created for the GBA, I still prefer Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. It\'s the only series with a hero that is NOT connected with the Belmont family. I also like the DSS card system on it.

[font=Tahoma] Well, I gotta agree with ya about the DSS card, not to mention that it was more of a challenge despite the crappy graphics and the lack of variety of items and power up equipments. Nice to know someone pulled this topic out of the archives, since I\'m becoming more into the CV series.

PS: Doc, have you beaten HoD, and gotten through the arena in CoTM yet? [/font]
