I've noticed a lot of people in the discord talking about their ban, and was thinking, what if there was a ban appeal channel in the discord? This would make it more simple for some folks, especially those who don't know the way the website works (going forums then scrolling down to CL and then ban appeals, even finding out the website exists in the first place). Just an idea, sorry if this doesn't belong in this section of the forums

One of the main pros of using the forum is that each appeal can have its own topic, keeping everything organized. Plus, it's usually a better place to let people explain themselves properly (and the staff explain back!) rather than the short sentences you usually get through chat.

If multiple people were appealing at the same time, following up on Discord would be harder to follow. Sure, Discord has threads, but it's still not quite the same.

In that case, I think it might be a good idea to put I direct link to the ban forums in the "rules and info" section of the discord. This might help reduce confusion a bit, I think. I think a link directly under rule 6 would fit nicely.
