That\'s kind of the point in Zero\'s ending in X6. He sealed himself away so that the programming that would make him a threat to his friends could be eliminated. Zero realizes that he is serious potential threat to X and the hunters despite the fact that he has no real desire to cause them harm (when he\'s not maverick) and that is why he went to sleep for 100 years.

I think ultimately after the fighting is over X and Zero will still be best friends and both of them will try to avoid the battle that most believe to be thier ultimate fate.

Besides evil cannot be destroyed, only the form it takes can be destroyed. Even if that happens evil will then take on a new form. As long as thier are people (including reploids) around then evil will exsist. Regretably evil has always been a part of our world.

I suppose, though I\'m more inclined to believe Zero becoming evil than X.

That wasnt the real X. That was a complete clone.

Yeah, that thing said that it was a perfect copy of the original X but I knew two things differe,t about him.
1. He was evil.
2. HE FRIKIN\' LOOKED FRIKIN\' NOTHHING LIKE THE FRIKEN ORIGINAL X!!!!!!!!!\'

I doubt that the clone was a perferct copy of X. Even Zero, who\'s supposed to have amnesia, could tell the differences between them. Zero knew the clone didn\'t think the way X did and Zero didn\'t even think the clone was as strong as X was.

This prooves it. Who created the reploids in the first place? Humans. Ignorance seems to be the evil that gets the ball rolling. The greatest threat to people is...people. The sooner we see this, the better. That\'s what the X and Zero series shows. It\'s like this: Guns don\'t kill people, people kill people.
