How long dose it take you to beat MMX1 from scratch?

Well, I think that i\'ll tell you guys about my very first time playing MMX. Ahhhh, good old 1993. Those were the days. I remember going into a game rental store and seeing Mega Man X for the first time. At first, I really didn\'t know if it was MMX or MM10. Convinced it was MM10, I said to myself \" Whoa! Is Megaman really that far along? I\'ve been missing out! \"

So I rented it, as soon as I got it home, I was playing it wondering\" What the hell is this? I can Dash! I can climb walls! Mega Man can\'t do that!\" Then, when I first beat Vile at the beginning of the game...well, more like getting the crap kicked out of by Vile, a new hero named Zero arrived and saved my life. \" Wow! that dude is sweet!\" I said. Then, while talking to him after Vile, Zero reveals that Mega Man\'s name is indeed X.

My first impression of knowing that MM is now MMX was that this is the future of the Original Series.

[Everyone] [sarcasim] Wow Bass, did you think of that all by yourself?[/sarcasim]

[Bass] Hey, hey! I was a slow kid! Shut up :P!

So I played on, and made it to Chill Penguin. I got my ass killed 20 times before I beat him. No laughing ;D !

After that 20 times of defeat, I went all out and murdered Chill Penguin\'s fat chilly ass!

[Bass] Wooohoo! I\'m God! I beat Chill Penguin!

[Everyone] *shaked head*

After reducing Chill Penguin to scrap metal, my next victim was Storm Eagle, a very easy boss. Then the rest of the Mavericks fell helplessly to my unmatchable skills to this order after Storm Eagle: Flame Mammoth, Launch Octopus, Armored Armodillo, Spark Mandrill, Sting Chameleon and finally Boomer Kuwanger.


As for the present, I could have that game beatin in about an hour...maybe even less. But that\'s just in gameplay! Leave cut sceens, pausing and selecting bosses ect. out of it and then may time adds up to about an hour!

I\'m afraid that the only problem now is that there is not enough room on the table for a GCN and a SNES. Mabe I can move the GCN downstairs!:devil:

It takes me an hour and a half but then again I always go after all the upgrades. I could cut it down if I didn\'t.

Recently I tried beating the bosses in reverse order and only using the X-buster. I\'ve learned to hate sting Chameleon since then.

It takes me around an hour and a half because I suck!Boomer Kwanger I hate you!!

Yeah! I always stay at the top left of the left wall and about 10 torpedoes later, he looks like a gas burner.:lol:

Thank you. I think we have all beaten that as we\'re at least talking about the right game.

It took me about an hour and a half but that\'s getting EVERYTHING ya know heart tanks, powerups, filling subtanks that stuff.

I just figured out another reason it takes me an hour and a half. I always fight both of Sigma\'s forms with the X-buster. It would go faster if I used the weapons he\'s weak against, but the rolling shield is too much of a pain to use.

I find it becomes not a pain when you get a steady rhythm going.

Rhythm\'s not the problem. I don\'t know why but every time I fight Sigma in X1 I always go with the X buster out of habit.

You may laugh but in every X game until X5 I always used the X buster to take on Sigma. I\'m not sure why I did that instead of trying to find a weapon he was weak against. I also didn\'t learn Sigma\'s weaknesses in X1 till about a year ago.

45 mins tops it was too easy :lol::D

Cool music, though.

Hour, hour and a half, tops.
Though, the first time I tryed it it took around two, three hours to complete.

Sigma\'s dog and sigma first form can be killed in one hit from the hdouken fireball, then you\'ll have full health and full sub-tanks for his final form, I\'ve havent beaten his final form yet, and when against sigma\'s dog, wait for him to jump over you once THEN use the fire ball

I can beat him easily in all forms. For the last form, stay at the bottom and dodge his attacks. Wait for him to drop his hand. Then jump on his hand and quickly jump and hit his heat with a rolling shield. But you must be quick as moments later, he will send sparks up and down from his paws. However, If you stay on the wall and hit him with a charget up X-Buster, you should be able to kill him without having too much damage done to you. If you\'re really good, five his with the fireball should stop him in his tracks.

Poor you. There are some really good games for the SNES, too.

It takes me about an hour but thats because i get all the upgrades including the hyruken.

me, it takes about an hour, only getting a few upgrades, who needs the dang helmet anyhow? not me!:lol:
