Let you know that I have Rockman World 5 Guide and I caught my eyes on things that u should know:

Capcom of USA named green hair who looked for Megaman called Terra.

Weird is that Japan version called this robot EARTH. Because you see mercury, pluto, venus, mars, jupiter, neptune, saturn, and uranus so it make a sense..earth is sound correct. WHY capcom of usa called Terra and doesnt relate those in space ? STUPID Capcom of USA.

Other one: Capcom of USA called it Sunstar (final boss) and japan called it \"Wilystar\". Wilystar is more sense because Wily created it and called it Wilystar but this robot looks like sunstar of course however this robot is not created by universe so that mean wily created it and called it wilystar..more sense. Stupid again Capcom of USA for calliong sunstar

Capcom of USA needs to improvement, not!! It been long time since they improved the translation, oh brother.

Your right but according to my guide book said WILYSTAR and I never knew until I saw this robot said WILYSTAR thats surprised me. I thought its Sungod but in the guide book said Wilystar.

I just translated it and found that you are right Sungod..I understand that Wilystar is where Wily will be in..Wilystar stage, oh. It clear me up now. Sorry. But again Capcom of USA make silly names. Those from japan is more sense because all of them are name after the UNIVERSE. :)

I like my names to make sense in English, not in Japanese. I bet Japanese would like that if an English game was translated into Japanese. That reminds me of a story about Spider Man comics. The Japanese hated the comic when the US tried to sell it there, but after selling rights to a manga company, the Japanese started liking it since the stories and names where changed to their liking.

The only name that I love from the Japanese version is Treble\'s. Gospel, Gospel, GOSPEL! ^_^

Not everyone is such a fanatic as you, you know RockmanGames. ^_^ If you like Capcom of Japan so much, why don\'t you marry it? ;^^ *runs off*

Meow. ^_^

If I liked Capcom of Japan so much, why dont I marry it ? Actually I did and sorry that i did not invited you :D

Actually english sucks because Capcom of Japan created it and its theirs, not Capcom of USA, period. Japan said that megaman were a weird name and not make sense because of Rockman and Roll actually is Rock and Roll..more sense. Megaman and Roll.....Mega and Roll ? Nonsense

Yeah thats right, I forgot. But still Capcom of USA called it Megaman and his name is Rock ? Not make sense, still. Because Japan of Capcom called it Rockman and his name is Rock, it is more common sense anyway. But I guess thats all I am saying. Thanks anyway for answering my questions and share your thoughts :D

Your quote: \"Would you be happier if Capcom wouldn\'t bring it to USA? You might never have heard of this \"Rockman\" character. \"

True, but I already knew about Japan since 1986 when it released and USA released in 1987 or 1988 I forgot. So I also know that Rockman was not actually first name Capcom of JAPAN called it in first place. They almost called it RAINDOW MAN (sound sissy name but) because of colors weapons he recieved after defeated each bosses then for a while Rockman were finally born :D

U see ? I know everything it is about Rockman. Still fan in 1986 and still ever right now and forever :P

Ja ne, everybody!

Why didn\'t you invite me...? ;_; *runs off to a dark corner*

I still like the name \"Megaman\", so nah. ^_^

*starts chanting \"Rockman and Megaman is the same thing...\"* No matter what you say, they are the same person just like Mighty Atom (Iron Arm Atom) is the same thing as Astro Boy.

Whoa... You know, when those scientists in Japan finally do make Astro Boy, what name are they gonna give him or will they program it to answer to all versions of his name... ;@_@ (Sorry for off topic. ;^^)

Some US names are better, like Protoman, Megaman, etc.
But some name names are better than the US names, Sun God (Sunstar US), Forte (Bass, duh) and Gospel.
If Megaman WAS named Rockman over here and in the US, would he of sold? The answer is, probably not.

One reason he might be named ROCKman, is because of.. well, Rock Paper Scissors, which in esscence, what Megaman games is. :D
