No. Bass has two goals programmed into him. The first is to preve himself to be the strongest robot. The second is to kill Megaman. Bass fights only to prove his superiority to other robots. He has no intention of being a hero. The only reason Bass fights in Megaman & Bass is to prove himself stronger than King and because Wily tells him to. I\'m sure Bass will be back to trying to kill Megaman in the next game.

Let me educate you on the Rockman & Forte story...

Rockman & Forte(or Mega Man & Bass) is occasionally referred to incorrectly as Mega Man 9, simply because it takes place right after Mega Man 8.

In Mega Man 8, Wily attempts to destroy Bass. So in \"Mega Man 9\", Bass teams with Mega Man to defeat Wily.

Mega Man X is also sometimes called Mega Man 10 because X is the Roman numeral for 10.

I don\'t remember Wily trying to kill Bass in Megaman 8. I thought that in Megaman & Bass they didn\'t even know that Wily was behind it until the end.

they cant make it a sereis be cuse its a SIDE GAME if we made evrey side game into a series we\'d have megaman soccer2,megaman battle and chase 2, rcokboard 2, megaman: the wily wars 2, and super adventure rockman 2!

In MMX1, X was the Main Character and Zero was the more Powerful friend. He was little patronising.

That\'s how it should have stayed. Eventually, everyone came to think that Zero was cool. As a result, Capcom saw this and made him a playable character. Then gave him his own series. Then, in MMZ7, X was an \"unlockable\" character.
