Zero was Dr. Wily\'s last creation. Then Zero went berzerk or something and killed Wily.
I think it said somewhere in the X series that Zero created the Maverick virus..

We do know Wily made Zero. We do not know if Zero killed Wily.

Also, Rockman & Forte is commonly, mistakenly refferred to as Megaman 9. I beat the game. Protoman destroys plans for \"King II\", not Zero, and Wily never mentions him.

Nor does he do so in Mega Man 7. I have beaten both the games with all the secrets, there is no mention of Zero in either.

As for Dr. Cain\'s disappearance? I was wondering that too. Maybe he went on a vacation....for a long time, seeing as the X4,X5, X6 story is over three years.

Wily is a crazy old man who only makes robots that work well on accident.

Zero def killed the rest of them, after all he was created like every other robot Wily made.. his mission would obiously of been to destroy Megaman.

As for Zero becoming crazy, he never was.
Untill the battle against Sigma were his programming had been broken, he would carry out his mission.

You might of got it mixed up. I\'m sorry for sounding like a jerk, if it was the few last weeks when i replied, then I might of been a bit bad tempered cus of my IBS playing up. :madgo:

It was wily becuase of the w in all the games. And plus it was zero who killed dr.light

zero was made by Wily, in X3 sigma says \"but.. you were the last one made by the doctor.....\" or something like that

Dr.wily did create zero and in x5 you have to fight him and if you know about the zero virus, you know when it acts up, there is a W flashing on zeros head crystal.:D

In X6 whenever you start a level as Zero the crystal falshes briefly, you\'d think he\'d go beserk or something and blow up the building

But in MMX1, it hints that Dr. Light dies of old age!

not nessecarely dies of old age, he also creates a hologram of himself in different stages of the games to help out x and zero with power upgrades

We know that Light lives on as a hologram, but we can all pretty much assume that given the message he leaves on X\'s capsule, the good doctor died of old age.

Its pretty funny cause at the end of mmX they say that all those who sacrificed them selves for victory will be forever missed. But Wait. Zero Died and He comes back I just thought that was pretty funny.

Even if Dr. Wily created him. He is still good and best friends with megaman. And besides dr. wily worked with dr. light at one point and they became rivals instead of enemies. Zero helps megaman alot. He isn\'t evil, hes cool! :mad::mad:

yeah, umm, Zero was made by Wily, and implanted with the Virus (wily thought that would make him stronger)

i don\'t think zero killed wily, because zero was found underground shortly after X was. how could he be in a capsule underground if he was out an about?

When you really think about it...you\'d find it hard to believe that WIly and Light are actually Dead. As it turns out, based on the X ending of MMX5, it shows Dr. Light OUTSIDE his capsule..unless when Sigma blasted X, he miraculously fell right in front of an upgrade capsule, which is very unlikely, then something had to get up and repair X. You can see Light\'s Leg for god\'s sake. Anyway, as to the Death of Wily, I don\'t think He\'s Dead either...he\'s probably built some robot for himself, (Isoc anyone?). If he did, it\'s perfectly reasonable to transfer Synaptic Controls and Memories to another shell...at least in sci fi it is. Annnnd, Isoc does seem to know a lot about Zero, after all, he slapped Zero with that force field....Fuurrrthermore, Sigma does indeed have the Zero virus, however, due to his advanced programming, he and that DAmned virus have merged, forming the Sigma Virus, which is slightly different. Personally, I believe the Zero Virus was originally created to infect Megaman\'s specific systems..after all, In X5, when X is infected, he loses Vitality, which really sucks. But the Zero Virus (it\'s sprite is that of the original unmodified version of Zero <after he was sacrificed to destroy Vile\'s body armor>, not where he has the sword) was made by Wily also to strengthen Zero, annnnd, control him, like one of you said. Strange though, how a COMPUTER virus can be transferred through an arm...

I think how the virus transfers has to do with the fact that it seems to be part energy based. That would mean it could pass along anything that conducts energy like metal.

I beat MMX4 with X but not with Zero. Though, I saw my brother beat the game with him and I never saw Zero in his ending *kill* Dr. Wily. It only showed him creating Zero in a flash back. And I dont know if your right about Dr. Light dieng of old age. I\'ve always assumed that, and thinking thats why they never show him in the X seires, and only show holligrams of him. Oh, but I just thought that the holligrams of him where just recorders of him that he made for messeges to send out and give the armer parts to megaman in the future. But when your Zero on MMX5- or X6, I dont rember exactly, I was playing as Zero and when I went up to a capsul, ( like always ) a holligram of Dr. Light apeared, except it did\'nt just give out information, it was.... like alive and it talked to Zero like a normal person! ( just kinda strange to me ) I thought it was just a recorder of him...

could be a LIVE BROADCAST hollogram. thats right. how else could light leave capsules in EVERY GAME??? he is indeed alive. I suspect that he possibly froze himself cryogenicly and set the freezing chamber to open when the capsule opened and sent a signal. Light doesnt confront X yet as he is not ready to learn his past. Dr Light knows Zero in X6, but noone sees why. Dr Light most likely designed Zero, but the plans were stolen by Forte when he infiltrated the lab in Rockman 7. Then, Wily used the plans to create Zero. The virus programmed into him was most likely unstable and required time to develop properly. I have yet to actually see Zero\'s ending in X6, but I believe that the conversation takes place in the time of TOS, when Wily was still alive. This was most likely how Wily made Zero go into a stasis for all those years. By the time he reactivated, he was infected. This caused his bizzare behaviour which we see in X4. When he gets the headaches, I believe that that was caused by Wily\'s carelessness to miss encoded programming placed by Light in the plans. Wily left messages for Zero that he remembers in dreams. Every time Zero has a headache, that is a system error caused by Wily\'s programming trying to execute but cut off by Light\'s programming that overwrote Wily\'s when the encrypted segments were executed.

My Opinion, is that Light made a \"Control Pod\" Where he lives, and send signals to the other pods.

Light made it his business to know about Zero. I say this: Wily\'s Robot masters were variations of his original ones from MM1 which were based on Blues. Forte was partially based on Rockman, but Wily decided to make some *slight* modifications. Explaining why Forte was a formidable opponent as opposed to say, Cutman. He made Zero as a completely Original work, making him the most powerful Robot he has ever made.



The way I view it is that the virus is a control program to keep his free will under...control. As for the Paralysis-inducing-W-flashing-Headache seen in Zero\'s Sigma Battle Flashback in X4, I believe that was caused by Wily back in 20xx. I think that Zero turned on Wily, and that the virus is an unstable energy that has a mind of its own. This \"VZ\"or Virus Zero, fought a mental battle with TZ, or True Zero who is the co-hero of the X series. VZ won and Wily sent a overwrite prog to disable him, but VZ\'s power kept it under control. During the Sigma battle, not only did the command gain enough power, but VZ\'s attention was divided, and the command activated. VZ infected Sigma and was later classifed as the SV (Sigma Virus), MV (Maverick) ZV (Zero).



Uh...No. That conversation is what puts Zero in stasis so he can be revived in 22xx for the Zero series. Capcom kind of contradicts themselves with X7, but I can think of a way for them to get out of it.

But how do we know that X\'s system check up 30 year test was complete...it says that when Dr. Cain woke him up, all was green...but WAS it?

How can Light be alive? He was an old man in the Original series so how is he going to live another 100 years for the X series?
