Yes, i grew up with the original Megaman series, however, Megaman always played second fiddle to Mario

the old megaman games are clasic but the battle networks are superb

I never really complained about the Original series, to me it had zero problems.

The main problem for me in the Battle Network series is the view you see Megaman.
I know that was the only view that could really work for this game but sometimes i ended up getting lost or back into the same spot i started from.

My favourites in this order:

Megaman X:
Has the most playablity possible in my opinion, plus its alot easier to play than the original series.
Megaman:
Classic Megaman will always rock.
Megaman Zero:
Seems good, but it\'s too early to judge.
Megaman Battle Network:
Too many games being realesed too quickly, I can barely keep up with them. . Good series, I like the Transmission game.
Megaman Legends:
Haven\'t played enough of this to judge, I only own the first game.

I find myself coming back to the first six more than any of the others. I grew up with those and have played each one countless times. im really supprised my nes hasnt broken yet. ive had it since well before i was born, and right now im fifteen. I think my nes is close to twenty about now. in 2005 im pretty sure itll be 20. I play it all the time and play the rockman series more than any of my other games, and i have a pretty impressive game collection. I cant wait for the aniversary collection to come out. Heck, im gettin nervous wondering when i can place a reserve!

I dunno. The X series is what got me hooked. I like it just because Zero\'s in it. but the orginal was pretty good too. MM7 was very interesting, and 9 <Megaman and Bass> was pretty cool too.

I have to say the original Megaman series is by FAR the best for me.
X just could never cut it, The robot designs we\'re uninspired, The characters did not interest me as much (Protoman could KILL Zero) and the difficulty sucked. (As in, Too easy.)

I\'m sorry, But I am a purist here, I don\'t really care if you disagree, I just will always like the original series better. (Lets not forget Megaman IV for the GB, and the other forgotten games such as both arcade games.)

This is purely opinion, I am not spamming in the least.
