I think Iris should come back in the zero series. It would be funny to see her and Ciel argue over Zero, or get into a catfight because of Zero:muha::muha:

Even If they didnt fight, if they brought back Zero so many times, they could at least bring back *cough(viris)cough* iris back. and what my earlier post said would come true:devil:

First of all, I don't think that Mods/Admins should be exempt from the rules they lay down, of course there's no way to force an admin to follow the rules, so it's up to their own personal integrity. Thankfully, Doc doesn't seem to want to abuse his power, which makes for a much happer IO in general.

Secondly, no double-posting isn't so much a rule as it is a general "No-no". There are exceptions to that guideline in certain circumstances, none of which apply in your example.

Oh, and Iris sucks.

I wouldn't mind seeing Iris as a supporting character, as in actually helping X and Zero. Trying to add relationships into the Megaman series is one of the most ridiculous things. Well, nix the humans in Battle Network, that stuff actually makes sense.

I liked Iris but I don't think she should come back. I usually hate it when they bring characters back in any story. It takes some of the drama and emotion out of it. Besides, I happen to be a big fan of offing characters. It adds excitement to story when you never know who might get killed off. But if they always bring people back then there's no point. I thought killing Iris was one of the best, most shocking things they ever did. They never had a female "boss" before then.

I liked Iris, but if you think about it, if you brought her back you'd have to bring Colonel back, because their programming was connected for being the "perfect soldier." Bring either back without the other and you'd have a veritable psycho.

Besides, we don't need Capcom pulling a Fukada left in right. They keep doing that with Zero.

Actually, the rule is no spamming, and double-posting was listed as a general example of what constitutes spam. It did not apply to all cases of double-posting, because clearly some cases are, in fact, justified. Either by making an announcement, or updating a fan work of some kind to name a few examples.



If I am to accept your logic, then no. We can not all agree. If it is an iron-clad rule, then--unless the mods/admins are somehow above their own rules--it cannot be a fair reason, for such a reason does not exist.

She really sucks.

Iris does suck, and do you know why?

1. People think Zero loved her, or she loved Zero. The first is ridiculous, the second is more plausible but there were no definites.

2. People still think that she should be part of the plot, that Zero should mourn her constantly I assume. And turn him into an emo.

3. She was part of the mass killing of semi-interesting characters in the X series. And now we have to deal with Signas. =(

4. She attacked Zero for killing her other half/"brother" Colonel, yet she was supposed to be some kind of hippie. Solve violence with violence? Where'd that logic come from suddenly? Oh right, in some "sourcebook" that we never got, it was explained that she "went insane" because Colonel was killed and it was like..half her brain being destroyed or some crap. Thanks for keeping us posted, Capcom.

True, that. I was a little bothered by how they ALWAYS killed the new characters. It was almost like redshirts from Star Trek! But they never killed a girl before Iris. I was especially surprised since Iris was a cute, harmless looking character. I am glad that they let some people live now. I just wish they'd make another RPG so we can get to know all of them better. That's what I love about the Legends games. You get to know more about the characters.

Iris kinda reminded me of a brown-haired broomless version of Roll. O.o

Just as long as the battle system's not "FINAL FANTASY X LOL". I really dislike turn-based combat these days.

Man, sometimes I wish I could manipulate the storyline in these games. I honestly feel I could make it a lot better. You know, deepen Iris' character, lose Colonel's German accent...stuff like that.

I know how you feel. I've determined that I'm going to at least write a fanfic. I'll pour out all my discontentment with the Megaman storyline into one grand story of my own. LOL!

Anyways, I have to agree with Forte. Iris death wasn't something that could be avoided, as it DID give Zero more than enough reason to go Wily on Sigma's rear end. At least she got to star in two games, right?
