I was just woundering... Do any of you people actually use the weapons that you gain from bosses in game? In the actual stages?

Or do you only use them to help you reach special secret areas?

Or are you just like me and save up all the guns and try out each one, one by one on the boss when you get there?


EDIT: In MMX4 did you guys also use the weapons with the unlimited power-up (I think it was the helmet)?

I use them when I have to or when I want to try out stuff.

:)I save them up so I can get the most use out of them VS the stage boss. Getting that first weapon is sometimes a killer, though.:)

I use them to reach the Secret Areas.

And when I catch up with the bosses, I usually just pick the Special Weapon in random and shoot agressively! If the current Special Weapon doesn\'t work then I pick the next one... After beating a boss with the right Special Weapon, I also remember the right Special Weapon next time when I meet the same enemy :)

Hehe, I love using the bosses weakness against him sometimes like in MMX2 the Crystal Snail(forgot his name:P) and Magna Centipede.

I love to use the charged special weapons to blow away weak robots,.

I also use them to destroy the Maverick bosses I don\'t save them because most of the time there will be some weapon-recover capsules that are in the stage or if not I just keep defeating weak robots till they give me weapon recover capsules....:lol:

I used the special weapons to send the Mavericks to hell!:D

I use weapons in the levels and against the bosses, inparticular, in X4 (after getting the helmet thingie and/or Ultimate Armor) I use Soul Body to clear out enemies infront of me....

the only special weapon i found useful in the levels was the commander yanmark dragonfly shield(i forgot the weapons real name):conf:

It\'s called the Yammar Option I can\'t blame you it\'s a weird name and not easy to rember...

Frankly, I always used Zero...I like the double jump/spin attack combo in...was it X5? I dunno, but I always loved to just hop around the stage making things go BOOOOOOM :miam:

An ideal Ultimate Armour would have all the strengths of all the other Armours, with shots that kill regluar Mavericks in 1 hit and boss Mavericks (including Sigma) in 2!:D

in my opinon armor like that would make the game to simpel.

True, but it would make the game more fun

BTW, that is what the Z-sabre for X does :P. It takes out any boss (including Sigma) in two hits. The other normal robos would blast into tiny little specs.

Morph Moth\'s Silk Shot weapon comes in handy for filling Sub-Tanks up pretty darn quickly, other than that, I only use boss weapons on the Mavericks.

It\'s not really weird; It\'s just that in X6, the translation team opted to stick with the Japanese derivative names(instead of ruining them with guns n\' roses band member names like in X5... AAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!! I hated that!!!) Yammar(k) is an offshoot of Yambou(That darn dragonfly that you see in RM3) which was taken from the original term Tombou which is Japanese for.... what else, a dragonfly:)
