Ok now I would have to say Robotinik from Sonic. Why he is dedicated to what he does. You have yet to see Robotinik give up to Sonic and even after he has been beat a ton of times. Even in the Marvel or Dark Horse or DC comics you have yet to see a better villan. Superman has many but none as good. Spiderman again a lot. And in our beloved Megaman Dr.Wily but even he disapears occasionally. So for ppl who agree with me we will be here till the end to see Sonic beat on DR. and him still come back for more.

My favorite villian would have to be either Ripley or Mother Brain, from the Super Metroid game. they were both worth dying to a few times, just to bask in the evil that was them. although, the final bosses of Metroid Fusion weren\'t bad either. Then of course there\'s cocky-a** Bass and Sigma, and Wily of course. the best villians can be judged not only by their longevity and continuity through different series, but their continued efforts to become a better bad guy.

plus how strong they are.That\'s why SOME people like him,that and the fact he comes back 3 times in a row and comes back again in Kingdom Hearts(stupid Disney Characters).

Mid-Boss in Disgaea is cool too. He sure is persistent.

Lu Bu from Dynasty Warriors 4, one time I had defeated all the enemy generals except Lu Bu, all my allies attacked him and we were getting whupped. Five genarals would use the musou attack at the same time and did a tiny bit of damage. I barely was able to defeat him.
