Chrono Cross will make anyone believe in fate. That bitch isn\'t one to mess with. ;)

Sad thing, is that yeah, Chrono Trigger made me think about the whole fate thing.

I have other things I believe in like religion and such though so, Psychology ain\'t the only thing that makes up my life *but it sure was a big thing to me* ^_^

They\'re small. The procreation thing isn\'t needed much anymore since there\'s so many of our species on the planet anyway.

But yeah, from a scientific perspective love leads to sex (don\'t deny it, but love leads to marriage for some folks, then the sex eventually) which leads to the birthin of the babies, which leads to our species lasting another generation. So Wind, if I may call you just Wind, our ideas are kinda the same for the meaning of life there.

As for me though, fate has things in store for me. Yes, I believe in fate, that things are written out the way they are for a reason. So I don\'t really have a meaning I suppose, I\'m just here to be part of a big stageshow they call life. Sometimes they throw roses, and others rotted tomatoes. =P

Hollow, first of all, I want you to know that I am not critizing you for your belief in fate. I for one, refuse to believe that I am not in control of my actions. Uh...That\'s really about it...:D
Many a time have I just stopped and thought : \"Well, what if we\'re all just puppets...for the gods (or God) to play with?\" And it makes sence! It encourages you that you can\'t cahnge what you do wrong, but you can try and you might just move out of their (or his) control. In other words, fate. Mabe I was meant to do this. Maybe I was meant to do that. It\'s certainly an encouraging thought.

Essientially.. Serge is the main character guy. Anyways, to sum it all up, you\'re a boy that falls into a timegate, you end up in \'another world\' which looks just like the one you were previously in, but no one knows you and blah blah. You then meet Kidd
Spoiler (click to toggle)
who happens to be Schala from Chrono Trigger in another body, don\'t ask
, and she wants to get revenge on Lynx for some reason or another..so you go take care of Lynx.. I forgot how confusing this game was.

Lynx has part of a red jewel that when combined with something makes the Chrono Cross and you use that to kill the last boss..but before all that you
Spoiler (click to toggle)
\'kill\' Kidd, fight Dark Serge, turn into Lynx, kill your father.. But the coolest part was finding out that Fate is behind all the problems going on in the world because the Dragon Gods said so, and defeating her. But Fate was really protector of humans, and the Dragon Gods want them all dead..mwahaha. So after killing Fate you unleash the Dragon Gods wrath upon the world, they even bring up ol Tyran\'s Lair outta the sea. The seven? dragons come together and form the Time Devourer, which should\'ve really been the last boss. But they threw in Lavos for no reason at the end.
But during the Ocean Palace\'s destruction, somehow the Mammon Machine, Schala, and Lavos got combined together?
So you fight them at the end and get a really crappy ending. Hehe, sorry, after the Lynx stuff it gets really spoily.

And yeah, fate aint half bad. If something bad goes wrong, I think that fate set it up that way, for a reason. And something good is going to come out of it in the end (which it always does).

I can NEVER beat him!) but if you die, you\'ve faild and fete\'s wish never happens...but there is always a start and an end that you have to get through.

I don\'t think there is a true meaning of life, because everyone keeps living for their own purpose.I don\'t believe in destiny. Only prophets can make prophecies, because they have been bestowed the power for a special purpose.

Eh, it\'s all too deep for me. I\'m only 13, you know.:P

God will change things whenever or however He sees fit.

The meaning of life may be to follow natures rules, like only kill what you have to or what you \"accidentally\" kill. Or it could be to kill everything in sight. Or it could be to live life to the fullest. Or it could be to live life like you have to be rich until you die of starvation from not buying food. I don\'t know and neither does anyone else, except the big guy upstairs.

I think the meaning of life is a spiritual deal, but one of the things you really need to do is try to stay on the right track.
Don\'t live there, or you become holy, and no man is perfect. You would become holy and defy God, therefore making you imperfect. Just try to stay there as long as you can, and when you fall, make the trek back up. You should feel good about life. :)
Beh, you don\'t have to listen to me... but you could... or not... I\'m no prophet and I\'m not perfect...

Nobody\'s perfect all of the time. There\'s no perfect reson, no perfect rhyme. Nobody\'s perfect, all of the time, Nobody\'s perfect that\'s what we\'re looking (or living?) for.

Why do people need to know the meaning of life? It\'s not of any improtance so why do people care? What will happen when they find the truth? Or will it be truth or just plain theory?

I’m not against the topic, don’t get me wrong. I’m, just in search for these reasons.

people are currently becoming more and more independant, but are losing their individuality. This is exactly how the government has planned everything. The New World Order has come and it is now in its infant stages. The world will become one nation and will be unified in peace. This may seem comforting to some, which is what they planned. It will be a time of evil. The kind of peace that they want will not be individual peace or a ceasefire, but a tyranical rule and forced peace. What we have done in Iraq is the first step of world domination. Because they did not conform to our standard, the government had an excuse to make them fall to us. The real reason is to make our nation seem powerful so that the people will trust it. Other nations will soon become US territories and eventually the entire world. We are merely pawns in this plan. The actions of the people have brought about this future and they planned it that way. Many nations have switched to the Euro and many to the Dollar. This will soon expand. When we achieve total unification under the Illuminati (the high ranking freemasons who organized the future of our society) an event will happen. The Apocalypse will be triggered and the prophesies of the book of Revelation will begin to occur. There is a group of Indians that made many prophesies. All of these predictions have come true on the dates they specified except the Apocalypse, which they say will occur in the 2030\'s. Strangely enough, this is approximately 2000 years after the death of Christ. Should the world fall to anarchy, it would prolong the time until the world unification. Anarchy is the only way to prevent the Apocalypse, but would be seen as an act against God and would cause a \"dark time\" of fear and little technological advance. Our nation fell to the Illuminati years ago. The founding fathers were all freemasons. On the back of the one dollar bill, it says in latin \"The New World Order\" and depicts a masonic symbol, the eye of horus. (not the egyptian one) Man has already fallen and there is little chance of avoiding these events. Even if they are avoided, they are inevitable. What I have said here is fact and I urge you to think about this. This is what our society really is.

You know, most of these theories we have are NOT the meaning of life. They show OUR purpose and goals in life. Meaning of life is an oxymoron as there is no meaning of life. Think about it. Im thinking about making a page devoted to my theories and such.

I agree,

Myself i just think there is nothing after life.

just like the whole universe life will just go on evoluating.

there is also no \"eternal life\"
we simply have a life limit of 100 years or so,
humans have been trying to extend that,
i think we do that because we are afraid
of the things we do not understand.
i also think (know) that our emotions are stored in our brains.
so if someone is to use telapathy,
they must have some kind of insinct in that.

i say just live,
there\'s nothing realy big we can do except
being born and dying,
we can\'t manipulate that and humans can\'t stand not being able to do that.

i think the meaning of life we have been given is just to figure out a way to do manipulate death and life.

That\'s where you\'re wrong. What makes you so sure a dog can\'t be happy? An elephant can\'t be sad? A Hippo can\'t mourn? A hyena can\'t laugh? A snake can\'t cry? The can. Of course they can! It\'s just that humans can\'t normally tell. A dog waggs his tail when he\'s happy. He yelps when he feels pain. If an elephant walks along with a load of glass embedded in her foot and cuts all over her, trust me, she\'s going to cry.

One of their offspring dies... they mourn, but they let go. Humans however, are incapable of fully letting go, making them much stronger, and at the same time much WEAKER than animals. Humans seek to dominate and control their emotions, AND the world around them. No one and nothing can or will be able to ever do that.

Nayus Dante...
Of COURSE there is no meaning of life, only meanings of life, on or two to each who seeks to learn the truth about themselves. That is why the subtitle read WHAT IS IT TO YOU? Because there is no universal. Each person has their own base goal, the one thing they feel they HAVE to do! Mine is to protect my sister. If I fail in that, my meaning is gone and I might as well be dead (IMO) when our jobs are complete, we become obsolete. not that humans ever were NOT obsolete. I mean, I have a video game with more brains than I do but.... shit, I forgot where i was going with this...
