Colour does matter.

Jedi Knight: Green
Jedi Master: Green
Jedi Apprentis: Blue
Mace Windu: Purple.

Maybe it\'s because Windu is using a skill of swordfighting which treads on the dark side, sligtly. That\'s why it\'s a cross between red and blue. Yoda is a Jedi Master. Besides. Windu is on the counsi for being best with a lightsabre and Yoda is there for being best with the force in general. They\'re all there for their own reasons.:rolleyes:
