I should have posted this a while back but I haven\'t had the time. I do feel that you all should be aware of this though.

A while back I went to an X-Box convention. I work for a store which sells games and my manager is always invited to these grand parties held by our distributors. I went along mainly since he needed help in bringing back tons of free stuff and also to further educate myself on the upcoming games for X-Box.

A representative for Capcom was there, he had a few games for display, Dino Crisis 3 and what not. He also had on display MegamanX7, hoping he\'d advertize that while people like myself were asking about upcoming Capcom titles for X-Box. We started talking, about X7 and Megaman in general. I asked hima but the old Megaman remakes, how they were never released here on PS1. He then told me about the Collection for PS2 and Gamecube. I informed him that I already knew about that and I aksed \"When I\'m I going to see a new sequel in the original Megaman series?\" So he answered back, \"Have you played Megaman and Bass?\" I told him I did and that was released a while ago. Then he pulled me in closer and said, \"Something is coming.\" When I asked him to tell me more he said he could say anything else. He gave me a free MegamanX radio and a bunch of Robin Hood coins, lol.

So was he teasing me, or is there really something coming. Megaman 9 could be closer than we think.

That would be cool. maybe it could fill us in on the whole apocolyps thing that everyone has so many theories about.

For some reason, i have a hard time believing a megaman game will come out on the xbox

Seing how poorly Capcom games fared on the X-Box, I doubt that they\'d do a Mega Man game for X-Box.

If they\'re making a sequel to the original series it will come out either on GBA, GC, PS2 or PS1.

Maybe you don\'t know, but Megaman & Bass IS Megaman 9! It was released in japan as: Rockman 9: Rockman & Forte. (Or am i wrong?)

I thought so aswell, but ppl told me other wise...Only the SNES ROM says that it\'s MM9...

Anyway...I think that it may be a 3 D game...without the corny rails thing on X7. Furthermore, if it\'s on th eX-Box, it\'ll be even better...because the Xbox is the most powerful.

I don\'t think it will be 3D, seeing how low MMX7 got rated by the majority of game magazines who were waiting for the game. While MMZ2 got high ratings in the majority of game magazines that weren\'t even waiting for it...It should stay 2D. And as I said before, seeing how poorly Capcom games sold on the X-Box(and PS2) I think that it will come out on either Nintendo\'s systems or Sony\'s PS2/1...

Don\'t forget that compagnies still do games for the PS1 (Square), so I wouldn\'t be surprised to see it come out for that system.

And about the X-Box, Capcom\'s game didn\'t sell on it. So I doubt that Capcom will release MM9 on it. Especially since they aren\'t releasing MM Anniversary collection on it. Even Capcom games on PS2 didn\'t sell that well. The only systems where Capcom made profit with it\'s games were the GameCube and the GBA.

Really? I thought that PS1 didn\'t have an games made anymore. Well I guess I\'m wrong. Er...I do know that it won\'t be on N64, NES, SNES, or GBC

Hmm... if it were to be on the X-Box (which I hope it won\'t because it\'s nearly the only consol I don\'t have), then it would have to support online play. How would that work?

Maybe, you could play 3 player with Megaman, protoman, and Bass, and they would all posess the same attack system?

I would guess it would come out on PS2, but I would certianly enjoy one for the Cube.
