On some online game I played, there was quite a fuss about Rockman & Forte. Some said that it was just a side game, some said that it was Megaman 9. I guess that it\'s just a side game, but according to someone, R&F\'s story (allthough there\'s not much story) was perfectly connected to Megaman 8 and 7. I thought this wasn\'t impossible, since Megaman meets Bass (Forte) in 7, but I\'ve never played MM8. So, I want your opinions.

There is no strong evidence for it to be MM9. Otherwise it would have MM9 as the title.

If it was Rockman 9, then when it was ported to the GBA, it would of had the title Megaman 9.

The game is simply a side game called \"Megaman and Bass\", just like \"Megaman Wily\'s Revenge\" is a side game, and The Best of Megaman.. even though that last one isn\'t offical.

The question of it being Megaman 9 only came up when Rom sites put the name \"Rockman9\" or \"Megaman9\" on the rom zip.

So the name Megaman 9 is completely fake. Even ask Capcom.
That should clear things up.

Actually, MMDrWily\'sRevenge isn\'t just a sige game, it\'s part of the side series. It\'s also MMI for the game Boy along with MMII, MMIII, MMIV and MMV.

Nope, Rockman World 2 was released as Megaman II.

Yes, Wily\'s Revenge is MMI for the Game Boy.. I dunno why I neglected to post that.

It\'s a Super nintendo game. It\'s called Rockman & Forte but it the 9th Megaman game made right before the X series. I have Rockman & Forte/Megaman & Bass. It\'s an awsome game though my verson is Japanese.

R&F is in a nutshell MM8.5. Why? Tenguman, Astroman, and the title. And Capcom said so.

It's 8.5. It was happened after Rockman/Megaman 8.
