Ok, so I was thinking while sweeping the floors [most docile], that it may be possible to start up the RP board, with tighter security.

1. Only Moderator may make new topics
2. There will be an RP request topic, which normal members may post with a request for their rp, along with a thorough description and rules.
3. Then, the Moderator will create the thread containing the rp, with the description that was provided by requester.
4. Only members subscribed to topics may post.
5. It will be the RP Requester\'s sole responsibility to maintain his or her RP, and to keep it free of spam and curse words.
6. If an RP is reported [duh] it must be locked at once, and analyzed by Moderator.



Yeah...I think I had another parameter to set for that...but I forgot it.

Well, while I\'m thinking, I\'d like to add something. Maybe we whould have more than 1 [assuming it\'ll work] Mod in the RP...

Oh yeah, one more parameter:

7. No post may be less than 2 paragraphs with proper grammar and punctuation. It will be up to the RP Requester to maintain this rule. If it is broken in said RP, it must be reported immediately [which is why I said maybe a staff of Moderators would work better for this]

Well, we could new rules in the welcome message...nothing life threatening, just a quick thing about the rp. I\'d write it...or...use that one up there ^

Another thing...new mods would not be appointed just for a dumb RP forum. Meaning Breakman, Necro, or Doc would have to do all the work. They barely have enough time to mod the rest of the boards here.

There are plenty of other RP forums out there, use them.

I know but...Docs board wasn\'t even -intended- for RPing. o.o I think it\'d be best if all the RPing people just went to a board that specializes in RPing.

And well, if they say that Doc should still have the RPing board so that the topics will be for \'varied interests\'...might as well add a Spider-Man board for Necro, a \'hot videogame babe\' board for Sonicboom/SolarWarrior, an Astro-Boy board for Breakman...

Well...what if I do it?
I\'m pretty sure I could manage something like that. Of course, then, there\'d have to be set limits to topics...and if only a mod can post, then only the mod can make topics. Besides, if it was me, I\'d probably review the rp before letting it go. And of course, I\'d probably just make 3 and make everyone participate in those, rather than make a super huge spin off of tens of rps.


And it is a hassle, I know...but I really liked the RP board. It was fun. I mean...the only problem with it was the spam right? And with these [complicated...maybe] rules that I\'ve suggested, I don\'t think it could get too out of hand...eh?

Annnnd...I\'d probably read the rps anyway, to make sure there\'s no spam.

I don\'t think Doc would be willing to appoint yet another mod that he\'d have to watch over.

Not speaking for him or anything, but that\'s just what I think.
