Long story short, I think V-Day is just another holiday created by greeting card companies (yeah, that means YOU Hallmark) to make @$$loads of money.
Course then again, I\'ve never been much of a people person, let alone have a girlfriend, so that\'s probably part of the reason...:lol:

And we all know no loads are bigger than @$$loads.

Anyway, on the topic at hand, V-Day is a sort of take-it-or-leave-it kind of thing. Some years, I might care; others, I could just give it a big \"meh.\" This year? Edging towards the \"meh.\"

I made a Valentines picture not too long ago, It\'ll be sent to all my friends online, its nothing special, just a detailed pic of Orengefox and wishing that person a Happy Valentines day. I\'ll upload it and show it to you guys sometime this week

Yeah, but take Christmas. It\'s soooooooooo commercial, but go look up the story of Jesus\'s birth.

I guess more than one comedian has said that joke or at least mentioned another variation of it.

The day is a waste of money. Girls don\'t give me flowers, and I can care less what they think. Everybody gets at least 1 flower at my school. Consolation gift I suppose. A friend of mine wanted to order one, and on the card attached to it, put a big picture of a perana plant!:devil:

What he means is that instead of thinking of yourself, you should think of your friend and help him and this girl get together. Of course, this is completely up to you and you can make this some awkward love triangle if you want but helping others is good.

Valentines Day...I like it, myself. I really like it. :muha: Err well, I guess some people can guess what I get as a Valentines present..

I don\'t think that your feats of strength tied in too well with your feats of intelligence. Just a thought.

Anyways, girls sometimes aren\'t interested in brains or brawn. In fact, a lot of the time it\'s how you look that gets you into relationships. Personality keeps the relationship alive. There are always exceptions of course.

Being serious, why do you like this girl? Don\'t say she\'s smart and athletic if she really isn\'t. I remember I had this idea that one of the girls I liked was smart, funny, athletic, hard-working, etc. As time passed, I realized that she possessed none of these qualities. She was just really cute and I let that one thing blind me from reality. Stupid raging hormones.

Edit - Since no one has made a card yet, my card will be the best by default.

Well, she beat my freind\'s in a race but she
isn\'t like a tom boy,but she is really
athletic and she was in a spelling bee and
made second in the chapion ship.But she is
popular,did I say see likes my friend but he

Well she just did it because I tried to sneak
and butt her in the kick ball line while she
was looking at my friend not playing.

There, you just answered your own question. And being hit with a purse is nothing important. She probably forgot about it already.


If this is the case, then setting up this girl with your friend may not be the best course of action. This depends on who you like more; your friend or this girl. If you want to keep your friend happy, try and build a relationship with the girl. If you want to keep the girl happy, set her up with your friend.

Oh! I have an interesting idea. If you set the girl up with your friend, she\'ll appreciate your gesture. If your friend really doesn\'t like her then she might think that you\'re a nice guy for trying and go out with you instead.

Of course, you have to keep in mind Murphy\'s law (anything that can go wrong, will go wrong)
