He used the Subject box which shows up when it wants when you reply. I don\'t have that right now...why DOES it not show up sometimes:conf:
[EDIT] Just for testing, I thought it might show up in Edit Post and it did. What\'s up with that?

Anyway, being the government that it is, we may never know for sure. Anyway, it\'s all determined by how much fake scenery you can see:lol: But really, it probably could have been the most elaborate staged setting ever....now who says they\'re not doing the same thing to Mars?

I can awnser that: Since not only NASA is sending robots to mars. Europe has also sent one, maby NASA has faked 2 mars trips, but i doubt a seperate company would do the same. Not to mention that NASA wants to win the race to find life. (Allthough some state that the European robot has allredy found water)

Off-Topic: If you find a black and white newspaper like magazine at a store, chances are it\'s full of fake stories.

Anyways, people say that movement of the flag on the moon is proof we weren\'t there. These people have never heard of solar wind. Most people never encounter solar wind because the atmosphere sheilds us. Solar wind is all the particals emmitted from stars. This includes light and super-heated gas cast off in solar flares. This can move light enough objects, and no one\'s about to say a flag is heavy. That\'s all I have to say.

Yeah. But it\'s fake. Yet, like you and I said, it\'s creepy, yet funny. That wormhole thing is weird, too. That hole mag. is weird.

I\'m so tired of this stupid story. I say that those you believe that it was fake are gullible, but they\'re ready to say the opposite. Bah.

A flag IS heavy! (there, I said it:lol:)
According to my knolige, solar flares are NOT powerfull enough to lift a flag, the only thing scientists have been able to let the sunrays moove, is a type of aleminium foil shute (only it\'s much lighter). It takes ages for it to even move though.

As for the heated gasses, I agree that that might couse the flag to moove, but it would also change its appearance somehow. In space, things can\'t burn, but if the flag was exposed to ulta heated gasses it might at least change color or smething else. Also, if there were gasses to move the flag, there should be something happening to the astronaut as well. However, I beleeve there was a moon landing, but i\'ll keep an open mind.

(Whatever that means)

I\'ve heard of a material easily moved by light rays. I can\'t remember it\'s name, but scientists plan to make solar sails out of it someday. But the flag wasn\'t made out of it.

They explained it.

The ground was very hard so they had trouble getting the flag in.

I love the documentary: From the Earth to the Moon.

Damn good information about NASA\'s program with the moon. :D

Moving flag? *LAUGH!*

No way. The flag had a wire in it to make it look like it was moving. :P

Again, this was explained in the documentary.

Perhaps it\'s just my gullibility speaking for me, but wouldn\'t it have been really stupid of any government to have staged such a thing? It seems to me that it would have been far too risky for anyone to pull off. Yes, I read the page and the theorized reasons, but I just don\'t think anyone could be so foolish or ready to abandon human deicancy as to fake a trip to the moon.
