It\'s not a cape. It only appears when he\'s running/dashing. When he stands still, there\'s nothing coming out of his back.

Also, he doesn\'t sound like a 13 year old anymore...but his victory speech can get annoying...and FAST!

he sounds like irvine from zoids CC, XD. not to mention zero\'s (i know ive said this before) but he sounds like a freaking surfer dude X.X

and its not a cape, its a Scarf. I anwered some of the questions below, view at your own risk.

Can i change the color of it?

yes you can, but not until later in the game when you get to use the deployment center, search some of the places you have been to with some of the mechs you have and you may get a \" \"scarf\". to change it, you need to talk to nana and she will have a option that says \"sky center\" their you can change your scarf color, watch movie clips, listen to music, check your figures (kind of a SSM knock off) check some skecthes from the game as well as other things

What colors does it come in?

so far, i only know of 3, red (default) blue, and green

Actually, now that I have the game, I\'ve played through enough to learn the usefulness of his armor...

In later stages, you get a part that you can equip to help power up... Axl wants to equip it, but a professor points out that only X, with his new armor, can control the modification. Apparently, the armor IS modular. It\'s just been strengthened to allow the addition of force metal, and the ability to fight the new gen Reploids.

For my primary response, \"Because X looks cooler\". Just kidding! I think that keeping the old armors like Glide, Falcon, Gaea, and Shadow Armors cannot be used in 5 titles. The armor issue, although how gay the armors may turn out to be, is probably the best Capcom can think of, I suppose.

I\'m just guessing, but maybe its because of the upgrades for X, maybe his old armor wouldn\'t accept the new upgrades, thus given new armor (if you get further down the road on the game, that is.)

Okay. I got a few things to say about this topic.

1. That thing coming out of the back of his neck is a beam-scarf. I know, I know... it\'s been said before, but I wanted to say it, too! So I did...

2. X\'s new look is DEFINITELY Gundam-inspired. After all, what with Wing, and G, and Seed, Gundam\'s a pretty popular series. If X looked anything like a gundam, Gundam fans would be forced to give MegaMan games a chance, and we all know how much of the anime population are Gundam fans. :rolleyes:

3. I haven\'t played Command Mission yet, I don\'t think I\'ll be getting it for a while, but all these new characters sound interesting. Since I\'m too lazy to get up and search the web for info, does anyone mind posting up backstories and stats on these new guys?
