Who here in their school is, well a popular kid? This messageboard promotes a nerdy stereotype which I do not fit, but I need to knwo if it fits you, do popular kids like video games too?

Hmmm... lets see now. Nowadays I would say poular at times... I have admiarers that like my work, and of course we have the ocational idiot on the street. I dont think people mind my presence so I\'m not the \"outsider\". People of all sorts come to this board I guess... I do becouse I live in a dull naborhood (would REALLY like to live elsewere). Popularety is pretty much extinct in my school sinse the people here have a certain levell of maturaty. That and the fact that its a mostly girl art school...

What does homework and swearing have with being popular? I hardly turn my homework in and swear and I\'m hated by like half my school! The people there are so shallow and immature, I really don\'t like it.

You see,you do not really have to have friends that are all \"COOL\".I,have many friends from different sides....I\'m friends with cool kids.....Goths.....Geeks....And,of course,neutrals....BTW,to me the term \"COOL\" is of no matter to me and it is just a silly word which should mean:\"A silly load of crap that people have taken the liberty of applying to themselves because of stupid lies of breaking the law and supposed gang involvemeant and fighting\".

I have no idea what I was at my school. I certainly had a sailor mouth, I beat the hell outta random guys to be funny, I helped with the school newspaper..drew a comic in it with my best friend. I didn\'t do much homework because homework is pointless. And I got good grades until I started goofing off.

But yeah, everyone that gets past my \"back the hell off\" exterior usually became my friend.

Popular,noone cares about my interests,the guys know me as a great friend,the girls,as the nicest guy in school,so it works for me(the girls like me because i am so nice).

uhhh...actually im pretty popular in the kid that i want to be popular with........not the preps or the jocks and those losers.... im known by the anime/videogame nerds (who are cool as fuck)(see im cool i curse ahaha:lol:) then i hang oput with the punks i like them funny and listen to cool stuff. and a few goths that aren\'t depressed and stuff but are cooler. so yeah id say id fall into the catigory of eigther punk or nerd im a punking nerd (never heard of on of those before i bet....) im cool:cool: and nerdy at the same time and hungry :miam:

Popularity, in my opinion, is quite overrated. I wouldn\'t mind being a little alone- hell, silence helps me think. I LIKE to think alone.

More people see me as a person to turn to when they are in a bit of a bad way. They ask for some advice or something- kind of like a psychiatrist. I guess they admire me or whatever they do because I help them while asking for nothing in return.

I am not a nerd but not popular. Instead of trying to be popular I find and pick out certain people. These people I control. I am very smart so I can tell people I will give them answers in return for thier obedience. Though I am far from popular everyone knows who I am. Probably just because of my last name.

I live the life of a man who\'s always being watched to see if he says a cuss word. I\'m absent-minded, yet smart. Voice dips into highs and lows. Firm morals. Skinny arms. Not into girls at my school (yet :P) and beats himself up for forgetting homework. 5 laps of gym make me pant.
However, since I don\'t pick fights or suck up to teachers (much), I avoid most confrontations (except for with trolls) and remain at least decently popular...
...except when it\'s time to pick teams for basketball...:rolleyes:

5 laps dear god! im on the ground after 3/4th of a lap they got to bring out the oxygen mask .......im more of the kid who everybody thinks is on coke, kinda the pudgy dirt kid with long hair that everyone loves..... and i kinda stop listening to stuff after a while of people talking to me.......

And just to clear things up when i say pudgy i mean like ten pounds overweight not like 260 lbs having to eat 12 bags of chips a day and two whole cows just to survive......and long hair i dont mean long like 2 feet long or anything im not woman..... i mean like down to my shoulders tangly dirt hair like i said earlier. chicks dig the hair they want to play with it and stuff if your having a horrible social life especially with the opposite sex grow your hair out Yanni has long hair and everybody loves him. but if your still having trouble pictureing me i kinda look like chris pontius from wild boyz/ jackass...... and still whats huffs last name.........
