InactiveI installed megaman x5 for pc on my p3 866 and the game just runs too fast on it.
even when gameplay is set to slow 
enemies move way too fast to avoid, megaman seems to be in hyperdrive ..
anyone know how to work around this?
seems like the game is written for a 486 or so and doesn\'t run well on faster pc\'s

I haven\'t got the game yet, so I can\'t really speak. Finding it in my area is going to be quite difficult...

InactiveI\'m thinking that your system is too darn fast for it. I\'m sure Capcom has a hotline for you to address these issues anyways.
InactiveI perfer the PSX format, no instalation bs to tend with.

Does x5 use directx like x3 did? i liked the smoothess of x3 on my uber fast pc. Perhaps there is some kind of patch you coud get...

This was for the oooooold PC version released close to the PS1 original. Nowadays, the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 package (X5 to X8) should run the game just fine, without as many compatibility issues!
