My friend told me about this new show on Cartoon Network. It\'s called Wolf\'s Rain. You guys ever seen it? If so, how good is it? I can\'t watch it, \'cuz I can\'t stay up that late. T_T

I watch it every Saturday night at 11:30. (Cuz that\'s the only time it airs at my area...)

4 or 5 episodes were aired and it\'s pretty cool. Quite bloody as well, heh heh.

My fav character is Kiba, who has the same voice actor as Vash the Stampede!

I\'ve heard of it, and am interested..but I really don\'t want to watch something that\'s heavily edited (as I assume this is).

I mean..I don\'t mind watching dubs of silly anime, but the gory stuff..I want to make sure I see all the gory stuff. >D

The first episode is the dumbest thing ever. There\'s a wolf everyone\'s hunting and it can rip open throats. Where\'s the emotion? There\'s blood. There\'s violence. There\'s street thugs. The main character is an animal. There\'s nothing about it I like. They could\'ve shown any number of things there, but no. Wolf\'s Rain. :rolleyes:
I\'ve never really been into animal-human mutations since I read Animorphs in Elementary school... don\'t know why.

ive seen a commercial...it scares me when the wolfs bite the people and all the blood.:(

Being a lycan (were-creature) fan I like it, but goes alittle by the book... stinkin\' wolves, when\'s a were-FOX\'s turn to rise? But still it is pretty good, could use some more emotion yeah, and some more plot besides \"going to paradise\", but otherwise it\'s not half bad. That\'s not even the start of the prob- *gets knocked over the head by Sage so you don\'t have to hear a lycan lies rant*

I play a were-fox in Dungeons & Dragons ;D Im also a lycanthrope fan, and, FYI, i prompted ZeroEXE to post this topic for me in my absence. thank you and please continue posting here; im trying to understand the show more (I LOOV it).

Where\'s the turning into human aspect?

It seems that from their POV, that they\'re humans, but from other people\'s POV, that they\'re wolves.

Meh, this show should\'ve been captioned from the beginning... it\'s one of those kind of anime that *requires* captions to explain what\'s going on.

I just watched another Wolf\'s Rain! (read date I posted this) Best one yet! It\'s getting good. I will say you need to be a major watcher and a patient learner to see what\'s going on, but it\'s worth it. I personally think they should have not edited out the bloody parts for the american version... :rolleyes:

Really. Variable, I was wondering when you would come back. Heh, yeah, the Americans are wuss\'. You see the war in Iraq, the blood and casualties, yet they think \"Oh, no violence. Must censor. Bad influence. Blah blah blah blah blah...\" They edited Megaman Zero! In the Japanese version, theres blood, in the english version, there\'s none, except for the beginning.

Last night (refer to date), Wolf\'s rain got SOOO juicy! They found a bio experiment called The Flower Maiden. The Wolves were being chased down by airships! It was AWESOOM!! Tons of blood in this one! I guess they didn\'t do so much editing after all! (I mean really, in one shot of one of the chars in wolf-form, you could see his freakin\' %&$#! Eep!):eek:
Oh well. So, have any other people been watching? Please post if you know anything about the flower maiden, or PM me, thanks.

Excuse my double-post, but I didn\'t know how to fit this in my last post. From other peoples\' POV\'s, they can be either one or the other (I suppose the transition is just so fast we can\'t follow, and if they did the Digimon thing and enphasize every change, the show would vaccuum heavily).
There was one time in the episode on 6/5 that a guard said, \"Hey, there were some boys in there with (Flower Maiden\'s Name).\" There were times when the wolves had to kill to escape, but half of the time they remained in human form and one time in particular a character* ripped out a throat with his teeth in human form. They also dive-slashed them human form, sometimes just while jumping next to them. Oh well. It\'s still cool.:cool:

Actualy the wolfs dont turn into humans. They disguise themselves but only the faintest of human eyes can see that they are wolves (mostly old people) The people hunt wolves thinking that their exticnt and can get millions for only one dead or alive.
