Planet-Megaman got hacked and had most of its stuff deleted or so I read. I don\'t know anything else other than what\'s on the front page. These hackers make me very angry and unhappy about the way things work. Teams of people can spend hundreds of hours to create something nice and it only takes one person a few minutes to bring it all down. The worst thing is that some people who were trusted members of the PMM team may be responsible for this attack.

Ummm...it probably wasn\'t a hacker. From what I\'ve heard before, they don\'t exactly have the most trustworthy staff over there..so...it was probably an inside job.

And Doc\'s been through something like this before, but that was his server troubles. No one cared about him when his server went down though.

Really though, with computers you can\'t trust anything. Make frequent backups and backups of backups, or else you\'ll be screwed.

Hackers are alright for something other than bad ones (which I hate). Bad ones I really hate are the ones that go on kazaa and rip the music. Good ones i do not know many of them:conf:

Hackers = actually mess with computer hardware to improve it. Sometimes with software. Never malicious!

Crackers = LAMERS who have no life and think it\'s funny to hack sites. I hate them with a passion.

Doc-- really? Hmm, I suppose those terms sound familiar, but I\'m more used to the idea of hackers as being people who do stuff for good... though, the bad kind of hackers tend to rely on outside help and pretty much don\'t have skills which makes them crackers/script kiddies... though, I don\'t think I\'ve ever encountered a black-hat type hacker before. The ones I\'ve met are white-hats.
