This topic is about the show on Miguzi called Code:Lyoko.
Its about these kids who find a virtual world and they use it to stop Xana a virus that every so often infects the real world and causes all freaky things to happen that could kill people. The go to to the virtual world and with the help of this girl in the virtual world they stop Xana. When they stop Xana they go back in time. The characters are called Odd, Yumi, and Ulrich. My favorite character is Odd because he is so goofy. I love the opening song to the show too. It comes on at 5:30 east coast. What do you think of the show?

Well, first off, I think that one guy\'s name is Orick, not Ulrich or whatever you said. Second of all, I think it\'s French. One of the companies has France in it\'s name and also in one episode it showed a map zoomed in on France where Xana was targetting a satellite at the people. Anyways, I think it\'s a pretty good show, but it could be better. Oh, and you forgot to mention Aelita (not sure about the spelling). She\'s somekind of virtual being.

I like it. I\'ve almost seen every episode. \"A World without Danger\" is a nice song. I\'m trying to find it on a CD or on the internet. For a \"french anime\", it\'s actually pretty good, compared to other french animes I\'ve seen.

Interesting... think it really is French? You don\'t see too many of those...
The 3D\'s decent, the character designs are decent, the music\'s okay, the action sequences are fine. It\'s just an all around average. My only big nitpick is that the mouth-to-voice translating is terrible.
Did anyone else notice their foreheads?

I did, even though I try to avoid Miguzi whenever possible. Stupid Miguzi. That timeslot rightfully belongs to Toonami.

I find the mouth to voice pretty bad,and their heads,ooh,ze headz of teh big-ness. Oo Overall decent,but it\'s a little misguiding plot wise.

i like Code Lyoko...its the best show on maguzi but i like toonami and adult swim better than maguzi.

...overall i say toonami and adult swim win;D...i just saw Fooly Cooly:D

In my opinion, the show doesn\'t even deserve to be called an Anime.

Seen it. Hated it. Why do I hate it? I don\'t know... I have something against ugly animations. Hehehee. ^^;;

I dont usually watch it unless there is a new episode.\"A World without Danger\".good song but the show gets borin in the old episodes sometimes.if they keep restarting it i probably wont watch it much.eh wat am i kidden toonami is better.

Yeah I hate the bad voice to mouth, they really have to time it right. Also Blademan.EXE I did mention Aelita(that is how you spell her name) just not her name because I was in a hurry.^^\'

Also Ulrich is how you spell his name, because on one episode Sissy has Ulrichs name written all over on one page in her diary(in the episode where Sissy steals Ulrichs diary and blackmails him to date her and Xana tries to ram the bus into a Nuclear plant(or something like that)) an that is how it is spelled.

And yes they have very big foreheads but that is just because of the style they were drawn.

Did you see yesterday\'s episode where Xana materializes a fake Yumi? I think it is hilarious what the fake Yumi does, says that Ulrich should date Sissy, tries to kiss Jeremy(very funny), and lifts Jeremy over her head and throws him in this hole that has a long drop, and karate fights the real Yumi.

I like the second to last episode just because Odd make this music video called Break, Break, Break Dance! which Odd repeatedly says Break, Break, Break Dance! over and over which gives Jeremy a headache.

Also does anyone know where to get the opening song \"A World Without Danger\"? And do you think they are going to make a new season and make a DVD set of the first season?

Well, I\'m pretty sure that they will make another season. Hopefully it will explain just HOW all this started. I hate it when shows don\'t start with the origin...

ya i agree with you they should show the origin.mabey they will do it in a movie.

That would be cool to have a a Code:Lyoko movie. The only thing I hate about Code:Lyoko is that it is always so predictable! Its still an awsome show and is one of my favorites.

Odd has the cool hairdue but i like Orick(however u spell it)better.And Umi is my favorite character.

Odd is my favorite character, Ulrich second, then Yumi. Even though Yumi is pretty cool but I think her weapon is kind of wierd (A FAN?!).

If they ever made a game I would think their stats would be like this. (And yes I know the enemies die in one hit but they would change that in a game)

It would be cool if there was a Code:Lyoko game, that would be sweet:D. The missions would of course be escorting Aelita to each tower while fighting enemies on the way with a few missions outside the virtual world(avoiding getting killed, trying to get to the Factory). That would be awsome.

You are spelling umi wrong its actually the way i spelled it. A video game for it would be cool though.

I LOVE mostly fantisy games wif made up cartoon characters and strange creatures so it would be cool.

Hey everyone, Immm Baaaaack!

Ok, Code: Lyoko is a good show, and yes the show does take place in a Bording School in France (i know these things, lol)

Just for info purposes their names are spelled as follows

Odd
Oerick (pronunciation: O-er-ick)
Yumi (trust me this is correct)
Xana
Jeremy
Aelita
Sissy
(if there are anyothers ill happily post them although if you dont know how to spelll or say any other names in the show then you have serious speech problems)

As for where it was made, im stuck betwwen France or Japan (the France in the iopening creds is France3 a username for someone)

The show overall is cool, i watch it everyday its on, and is my second Favorite show (With MegasXLR in the lead)

Also, my favorite character even though he may not be considered one would be Kiwi (what kinda dog is he anyways)
Also, it would be cool if in one episode he goes into Lyoko with them (he would probably have a laser cannon on his back, a small one to not hinder his speed)

I like the idea of a Code Lyoko game it would be cool, and its traveling should be somewhat like the MMBN series and either turn base battles or battles like in MMBN as well (only type os battle system that makes sense to me)Oh yeah, i heard somewhere that there is a Code Lyoko game in the planning stages (lets see how far it gets)

Yes, France. In one episode where Xana had aqured control over an Orbital Laser Weapon Platform/Satellite, after it began its targeting sequence it was scannin Europe and guess which country was zoomed in on....Yes France

Code Lyoko and Teen Titans are just trying to capitalize on the japanese animation fad..

I know for a fact that Teen Titans does it VERY POORLY. Haven\'t seen Code Lyoko..but Teen Titans is horrible, so it kinda makes me avoid that \'Miguzi\' garbage.

No offense to the poor Turtles though! How dare Cartoon Network put them in the same slot with those other crap shows? :rolleyes:

I just found the coolest short film ever of Code: Lyoko but it used to be called Garbage Kids (dont ask me why :rolleyes: )

It also shows that Yumi has telekinesis and can use her mind to levitate things but they must have cut it out before they aired the show(it would\'ve been cool)

it was in the lyoko and shes done it on a few episodes...i dont remeber which ones tho.
