well i saw its name on the main page of gamefaqs today and i just wondered what it was...

It\'s going to be a dual-screened, catridge-based, 3D-graphics-supporting, portable video game system from Nintendo. That\'s about all you need to know. That and a MMBN game will be on it (happiness to all! :D).

I wonder how they\'s make an emulator of it?

well... crap... it a new gb then isent it? will it still play the old gb games?

Unfortunately I don\'t think a dual window system would be hard to emulate..

I can see the benefits of say, emulating old Sega consoles.. Buying one from Funcoland isn\'t going to help them any. But emulating a brand new system because lazy ass loser fuckheads can\'t walk down the street and buy (or rent, or play) a cartridge? Ridiculous.

The GBA slot, since it\'s big enough to contain GB cartridges, one would assume that it would be able to contain the older Game Boy series aswell. Which means that it ROCKS! But I\'m probably gonna waste my money on an SP...

why are there all these new systems these days that have special letters in their names? X-box, GBA SP, Nintendo DS... I think the game companies like Microsoft, Nintendo etc. are just trying to make the names sound cooler. :rolleyes:

Sorry, but it\'s actually a likely chance that it can play Game Boy games.

Even though the top of the cartridge might stick out, it might still be able to play Game Boy games, but I don\'t know how the double screen will work on original GameBoy games.

i went to an eb store yesterday and heard the release date is SUPPOSED to be november 30 and that its SUPPOSED to be 300$ (but he thinks it\'l probably drop to 200$

I dont see how it could possibly be more than a gamecube when it first came out. (the last gameboy was $100 when it came out.) But what im thinking about the gbds is just mostly ganna have recycled old 64 games. And i loath the 64 era for all it had was platformers for the most part. (mario, donkey kong, banjo/kazooie, bomberman, it goes on and on and on) it seems that whenever nintendo\'s older systems go obsolite they recycle older games to make more money. ex: Zelda (big time), sonic, megaman, Animal Crossing did it, every imaginable half-descent SNES game they seem to have plans to bring it out on gameboy.

I would choose SNES or Gameboy advance graphics over 64 graphics and half of what they got on gamecube. So if i buy a gbds (which i probably won\'t) id wait till original games came out and wait for the ridiculous price to go down. If the system cost 200 what do oyu think the games will cost? if the gamecube was 200 and its games are 40 its reasonable to believe these games are going to be 40 also. its high-way robbery i you ask me.
