Look, can any of you give me an easy html code to play midis. I want a code to set it up so it does not automatically start, and has on and off buttons. It\'s for my site. I want the codes like that so it\'s easier for visitors to control them if they don\'t like the music.

Here ya go Zero...

Here\'s the code you would use to have your music play once:

<EMBED SRC=\"music.mid\" AUTOSTART=TRUE HIDDEN=TRUE> <NOEMBED> <BGSOUND SRC=\"music.mid\"> </NOEMBED>

Note: Replace \"music.mid\" with the actual file name you have.

Here\'s the code for enabling your background music to play in a continuous loop. This means that the music plays until your visitor either clicks on the \"Stop\" button on the browser or they go to another page:

<EMBED SRC=\"music.mid\" AUTOSTART=\"TRUE\" HIDDEN=\"TRUE\" LOOP=\"TRUE\"> <NOEMBED> <BGSOUND SRC=\"music.mid\" LOOP=\"INFINITE\"> </NOEMBED>

So, the name of the file, or the name of the url the file is. Would it- I dunno. It\'s confusing....

Replace music.mid with......http:///yournamehere.hostname.com/music file or subfolder and if you have it in a sub folder you do

http://yournamehere.hostnamehere.com/subfolder/music file.

I know a site you could check out. It\'s http://www.funky-chickens.com It has a weird name, but it has a lot of HTML codes. But sometimes it just seems to disappear for a week or two.

Not really... people rarely ask html questions here, so there\'s really no point on making a whole board for it.

Oh, SG4, you don\'t always have to use html to put some music on your site. You can also download Flash MX and make a small music player with a list if you wanted to.
