It\'s where you start out in a town and when you get to the boss it\'s Wily in some kind of robot suit or something (it\'s been a long time since I played it) and at the end Protoman appears and saves you from Wily. Can anyone tell me which one that is I just can\'t remember?

A town, eh? Well, if that was an intro, Protoman was actually kidnapping Dr. Light. That was MegaMan 5.

It\'s been a REALLY long time. But I remember it was like a city I think it had these rolling things that you had to jump over. And once you beat Wily and start to gloat or whatever Megaman does at the end of a battle Wily comes back and grabs you. And then Protoman appears and shoots Wily then says something to you and dissappears.

I\'m not farmilliar with that. Megaman 8? I\'ve never played 8, so maybe it\'s that one. I don\'t remember this in all the other ones, and I\'ve played them ALL. Well, most of them. What system was this game on? Could be Wily Wars for Sega. I really don\'t know.

I think you must have dreamt about playing this game because none of the eight original Megaman games begin that way.

I don\'t know about the town thing...that could have been Mega Man 2 where the Game Start Menu shows Mega Man on top of a huge building or Mega Man 4 where the opening tells the story of Mega Man\'s past, while showing a scene of a town in the background.

Wily being in a suit....could you be refering to Doc Man in Mega Man 3? He\'s the big ugly robot that uses other robot\'s of the past\'s DNA to mimic their powers. He uses all of the Mega Man 2 Boss\' DNA to destroy Mega Man.

Protoman appearing to save you from Wily could be from Mega Man 3, where the giant dust scraps crush Mega Man and Wily. Protoman appears and teleports down right on to where Mega Man was crushed, breaking the block. He picks up the fallen Mega Man and teleports out.

I think I\'m losing my mind. Because I just recently rented Megaman the Anniversery Collection and I couldn\'t find anything like that either. But I remember playing this game all the time. I remember always resetting it because I like that part. I remember that you used to be able to double jump on walls or ledges. I remember jumping past the spiked wheels and shooting those flying things out of the sky. And then getting to Wily and betting him and after Megaman does his strutting poses Wily comes back and grabes him and is about to destroy him when Protoman\'s whistle sounds and he shoots Wily. Then he just stands there looking at you and teleports away. But then again I did have a very rough childhood and hey I had to do something to drown out the screaming and plates busting so I just might of made up a Megaman game myself in my head. Who knows I\'m going to have to ask one of the creators if I can track them down.

Double jumping on walls? Shooting spiked wheels? Shooting things in the air?

maybe your mixing the start level of MM8 with the end level of MM8, did you think of that

I never played MM8 until I rented the Anniversery Collection. It might be MMX1 I remember playing a MMX game I just can\'t remember which one. Right now I\'m aiming for I dreamt it up when I was little. And because I kept having this dream about a MM game I would like to see it became sketch into my memories. And thus it never existed it was just a dream of mine, I guess. But it was so accurate; it had everything right even Wily\'s eyebrow thing.

that did kind of sound like rockman 3,where blues saves rock at the end from wily,he might be mixing that and X(X and zero vs Vil and Ride armor MKI)
