I just want to make sure it works and since I haven\'t played Yellow in forever, I don\'t want to get halfway through it and realize the glitch doesn\'t work.

yes it does work on blue or red but i cant say ive tried it on the yellow version.

The Yellow version was released to correct that bug IIRC...or was it released to fix the missing no bug? I\'m sure someone will tell me =P

What Mew glitch..?

I know that Yellow doesn\'t have that fun 99 of any item trick..

i reamember that cheat when it was popular i screwed up my blue version.

Oh are you talking about the glitch where you beat the Elite 4 several times and then go find a Missingno and when you go back to the computer to the Pokemon Hall of Fame you\'ll be able to see Mew? Or about using strength on the truck in front of the S.S Anne (which never worked for me)?

^ That one was a hoax, it does nothing. Just proves you either a) used GS or can actually sequence break Pokemon games.

As for the MissingNo glitch, that works in Red and Blue, not Yellow. You talk to the dude in Viridian who teaches you how to catch pokemon, then fly to Cinnabar and go up and down the east coast. You also find L100+ pokemon along with Missingno

There is no way to get Mew unless you use a GS code to catch it.

It works! It\'s the one where you don\'t beat the youngster with the slowpoke in celedon city and you don\'t beat the guy in front of the tunnel west of lavender town. You eventually get a level 7 Mew and the sprite is actually Mew. The whole thing is on gamewinners.com.
