Alright... there was obviously no voice acting in either the first Megaman games or Megaman Battle Network for the GameBoy Advance. Yet, whenever I beat a game, be it beside Heatman original or VideoMan.EXE, I see a Japanese name. Does each robot master and Net Navi have a different designer or something?

yep, they MM has ample disigners, so they give credit to were credit is deserved, I mean, one person can\'t just come up with all those bosses, well they can, they just don\'t want to

Another explication comes from the infamous make-your-robot-master-contests: in many games from the original and battle network series, a contest was done to find new bosses ideas. What you usually see in the credits are the names of the winners of those contests near the name of the robot / navi they imagined. In the case of Mega Man & Bass, several of the bosses were thought up by some manga artists who did Rockman books in the past.

I heard that Knightman and one other Robot Master from that game were fan-made ideas, but I thought that Capcom came up with the rest. So, they were each actually thought up by different people?

Knightman and Windman were both done by North Americans. The rest of the bosses in the original series bar the first game and Megaman and Bass were done by those who entered the Japanese contests. Or at least I believe so.
