Okay, let me say something. You sometimes must bypass storylines and remember that these games were made by people who don\'t care about how much we think about the stories. Who cares if X or Zero look like MegaMan and Protoman. That would be expected since ProtoMan and Zero were both by Wily and MegaMan and X were both created by Dr. Light. However, the story really doesn\'t matter all that much soemtimes. The creators of the game can change the story as they please.
Here\'s some proof: ShadowMan in the MMBN series appeared in Network Transmission which cronologically happened before MMBN 2. However, in MMBN 2, MegaMan never mentioned seeing ShadowMan before. Sometimes you must forget the story lines and just play the games.
After hearing that can you really say that storylines are always kept straight? I seriously doubt that. In my opinion, you must not always trust those in Japan who rule over the stories.
On a final note, you shouldn\'t think to much about video game story lines. As is true of the same aspect of anime, thinking about it too much can make your head explode. Things don\'t always make sense. For instance, people go to war, sacrificing thousands, sometimes only to avenge one death. That was partially the cause of WWI. That, in my opinion, just doesn\'t make sense.
In conclusion, the moogles on left side of the cheese are just plain hyper. (See? That didn\'t make any sense either
)
