Special artifact possesion makes a perfect Samus Aran.(Her Power Suit is a Chozo Artifact, correct?)

So I'm not going to have anything spectacular in my signature.

I like the first one, it\'s the perfect mix. Just like Spawn.

What fun is a hero if they\'re guaranteed victory?

Technically, every hero is guaranteed victory. If they died, then the show or game series would end for good unless they made a plot-hole-spawning-bring-the-hero-back-to-life episode.

On the grand scale, yes, all protagonists usually are victorious. People in general don\'t like to see the hero fail in the end. But if the hero is invincible and you know he/she can\'t possibly fall, that it just isn\'t possible, it excludes the story from some aspects of danger and suspense.

But no, the hero doesn\'t generally just win or be infallable. Cowboy Bebop is a good example of this.

eh. personally, I don\'t like having people who are too physically strong. It somehow seems to shrink their brain to roughly the size of a walnut. that\'s why I like heroes who have a great perspective and can work things out between people.

Also, another example of a story in which main characters aren\'t victorious, or die, check out the classic Romeo and Juliet, as well as the game Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1 or PSX. Ironically, it seems that people enjoyed those; R&J is famous world-wide, and FFT was a \"Greatest Hit\", or so the case said.

My favorite kind, is when the hero is victorius in the end, but, got his ass whupped by the same guy earlier.

Sort of like what happened with Dart and Lloyd at the tournament.

\"He\'s too fast! I can\'t read his moves!\"

I\'m shocked to find that someone else knows of Legend of the Dragoon. It was a great game.
