I heard Metallica was making a video game. It\'s suppose to have all kinds of bad-*** weapons and they\'re going to provide the music for it. That\'s pretty much all I know...if you know more about it I would LOVE to hear about it.

Well if thats true I\'ll be sure to boycott it. Those people killed napster because they were greedy. They weren\'t getting enough money so they sued.

No they \"killed\" Napster because they were stealing food from their children\'s mouths!!! How would you like to have someone steal money from you on a product you worked so hard on?!

I don\'t know if any of those lawsuites carried on or if they dropped them but my guess would be they were trying to scare those kids. Teach them the consequences of stealing. And no...it\'s not going to be them and you have to play their instruments and there\'s not going to be any dancing. It\'s supposed to be where you drive around different cities in all kinds of cars (etc.) and blow things up with different weapons. Its suppose to have Metallica music playing in the background.

A Mettallica game... Right... I really don\'t think I\'d even consider renting this game if I saw it at Blockbuster. I just don\'t think games based on non-ficitional ego-maniacs and superstars are any fun or worth playing. Most games like this are doomed before they\'re in the pages of a music magazine.

First off, Metallica making a game is terrible. I can\'t believe I was once a fan of these bozos. A movie, now a game? What\'s next, Metallica cheese graters? Goddamn pop artists.

Second, there was no food being denied to their children. Lars said himself that he didn\'t care about their money losses, that he cared about the smaller bands. We all know that\'s bullshit, but yeah. Didn\'t you see the South Park where Metallica and numerous others attacked Napster because Lars couldn\'t buy another gold chair that year? :rofl:

Metallica\'s always had plenty of money. They make the most from touring, not the CDs they sell.

Based on the past games with musical stars as the main characters, I\'d be willing to wager that you\'ll be able to buy this game with the change you find searching payphone returns. if you want other games that did badly, check out \"Moonwalker\" (the game Dr. Cossack mentioned) and \"Britney Spears Dance Party\" (\"your breath\'s toxic, I\'m slipping under...\").
