Well... first you take a couple of sprite sheets like a Megaman one and a Protoman one. Then you take a Background pic. Now the part I still haven\'t figured out yet, is to get a word bubble. Probably could find one around Google.

I only know the materials, haven\'t made a comic really. ^^;; I think Metool knows how to make one. Or S.T.Z, maybe Blademan does too. Heck there\'s even Nayus Dante.

Oh, this is probably more suitable in the Fanwork forum.

Lol. Sounds easy, doesn\'t it? But making a GOOD sprite comic is never so.

The ABSOLUTE FIRST THING you want to do is decide WHAT kind of comic it will be...

Will you have a comedy?

Will it be an action adventure?

A little bit of both?

I\'m sure there are more. But those are the main two that I\'ve seen so far.

Next you must decide on your characters...

Who should be the main character?

Who should be the villian? SHOULD there be a villian?

Most often, if you\'re going to do a comic with random sillyness, then you don\'t have to think too much about the characters, as you can just pick out the ones that go best with the punchline.

If you need any further pointers, you can contact me on AIM or YIM. Both of my names are listed in my profile. Right now, I have to get to bed. It\'s late.

Good luck!

Get sprites etc. Open up MSpaint, put the sprites onto the BG.
To do a bubble in MSpaint use those rounded box making tools. The add white arrow*not just a line* from it to your sprite. then add text. Now do a black line around the whole of the box. Once you get that down it ain\'t hard.
Now just do that until ya got a comic, and atleast -try- to make it funny if thats what you were going for.

I however recomend you try your hand at doing them in Photoshop if you can get it.

and since Psy happend to post a tutorial I ain\'t gonna type out how to do that.

::EDIT:: I love typos, don\'t you?

Wow, I didn\'t think anyone would remember I made one a long time ago.....
Ok, the #1 place for sprites is http://sprites.planet-megaman.com/
But, before you make a comic, try practicing first, do basic recolors(A Recolor is just changing the color of a character, Example, Megaman is originally blue right? Just change the color to something else like green.
After you can do recolrs a bit try making your own sprite from various sprites, think of a color scheme first, is he/she going to be Green? Blue? Yellow?
Now take different parts of sprites and put them together. don\'t expect your first sprite to be really good, just practice and little by little you will get better.

Think for awhile what type of comic you want, Funny, Action etc.
Go to www.bobandgeorge.com for a example of a funny comic.
Go here for the Sprite turotial by bob and george
Once you\'ve done that, think about the stoyrline, who\'s your main character, side character, and of course, the enemies.
Next visualize an image of what you want them to like. Then you\'ll need to find some backgrounds, sprites inc should have them I think.
Open up MS Paint and begin working.
Put everything together and you\'re done!
The only one I can remember was villagephotos....
I would post an example of how to sprite, but I need to find a new image hoster, I used up all my space on the last stuff I did.
Well there ya have it, let me know if I missed anything or you still need help.

I have one question to ask: Do I have to save the sprite sheets?

You can if you want, if you don\'t you\'ll have to go back and get them every time you want to make something.
