I\'m glad someone else somewhat shares my views on this whole matter.

My term for this day is \"People died. Get over it.\" Yeah, it\'s harsh..but I\'m sure plenty of people at this board, and all over the world have had close relatives die. Do you always go back to the place they died at, and pray and cry? Do thousands of people join you in doing so?

My grandma died in a hospital. Yeah, our whole family misses her and wishes she wasn\'t dead and all, but we don\'t go back to that hospital every March with abunch of strangers that don\'t even know her, and put up crosses made out of flowers or what have you. I\'m just saying that going back to \'Ground Zero\' to pray for the dead is silly. Unless your relative actually has their remains there, there\'s no need for you to be there.

I\'m rambling.

But anyway, I do agree that humans are a pest and there\'s too many of us. But I don\'t agree that it\'s \'okay\' for abunch of people to kill each other over something petty, just to rid the world of its human disease. I personally think mother nature has it in for us, and with evolution and all these new virii and diseases..she\'ll kill off all the weak or something. So no need to \'do the work of God\' and go killing people just to thin out the population. (The US president is doing that for you)

I love that picture by the way.

I\'m sickened by how the USA reacted to these \'events\'. What did most Americans (including my own mother) do? Get an American flag, and buy red white and blue popsicles. To celebrate their \'newfound patriotism\'. Right. Just abunch of yuppies that go to Starbucks everyday following a new \'trend\' is all.

\"Oh, that little flag on her SUV is soooo cute, I\'m going to get one!\"

The thing that sickened me the most though, was the people capitalizing over these \'events\'. The people selling shitty US flag decals for car windows on tv commercials (order now for 19.95!), the woman who wrote that story about her husband soon after the crash, the people now that sell t-shirts (nevar 4get), the muscians that made songs about it, and whoever else..

And what about the terrorists, you ask? Yeah, they did a bad thing too, destroying our buildings and killing our citizens. And they should be removed. But nah, we\'re too busy trying to distract the American people for that.

The deaths that occured pain me. However something that also pains me (if not more) is people using this event to their advantage and twisting it, as you said, to promote themselves. It is disgusting.

Aside from that, I also prefer not to think of the deaths as a simple number. Whether or not the earth is overpoplulated and there are more than enough people to replace their number, those were lives. Each of them only had one chance at life. Every person who loved them knew only one of them existed in this world or any other. And that person was never returning.

Anyway, enough with my being emotional. I cannot bring these people to thier loved ones. And, what I feel probably means nothing to those who experienced the loss. So . . . yeah.

Really I just thought myself cold hearted but it is nice to see people who think along the lines that I do. I shall keep this short, and to the point.

I know people have died, it\'s bad, yeah thats obvious. But people being so patriotic and showing fake sympathy just because its the \"right\" thing to do? Say a prayer or put your arm on the shoulder of somebody who actually knew somebody in there... but this seems rather extreme.

It\'s gotten so bad I really actually get annoyed. The year anniversary of Sept 11th I didn\'t feel like standing outside, I didn\'t want to see people sad/ or at least faking it, I really didn\'t want to get involved so they said I could wait in the Library and play on a computer or something until the cerimony was over with. Then while I was minding my own business while the band was playing the anthem outside, one of the bitchy teachers came up to me and forced me to go outside, and pay respect for people I have never seen, never knew well enough to know if they were that great or people. So I got my ass pushed outside and was glared at until I put my hand over my heart and closed my eyes.

Now tell me, do you think the people who perished would want to have godlike worship for them? If a man slipped in the bathroom on soap and died, that means that he shouldn\'t be paid as much respect as well as a person in the 9/11 would? I dunno, I just think people are taking this way to far.

I forgot to add...

What pisses me off even MORESO is that they did this same kind of shit for the Oklahoma Bombing. Rememberance days, periods of silence, memorials at the site.. They thought terrorists had done that deed, as well.

But when they found out it was \'one of our own\'? No more remembrance days, no more false patriotism, no more memorial visits. The people who died there were forgotten just because they didn\'t get killed by terrorists.

Sickening, really.

Personally, I\'m phoenominally depressed and royally pissed off every 9/11. I\'m sad for the people and families who died, yet the primal rage in me wants to (Warning, graphic)

rip Bin ladens vital organs out of his flesh while crushing his beating heart in my palm, all the while he\'s gasping as he slowly slips into the eternal sleep of the dead

Why? Because he deserves it. Him and the rest of his Al Qaeda cult. Realistically, they have Ak-47\'s, I have an airsoft gun that I borrowed from a friend, and a cat who sleeps all day. I\'d be lucky to give a few of them brusies and/or Cat scratch fever.

Which is getting really off-topic...

Why does he deserve it, actually? I\'m just curious how many things this guy has done. I\'ve heard about Saddam but not much about this guy.

He funded, and planned the attack of 9/11. Not just the Twin Towers, but the Pentagon, and the one that was counter-hijacked and crashed by the people of the plane to protect the lives of the probable targets.

Why? Because America isn\'t an Islamic country. That was why he did it. He even said so.

Somehow I doubt that \"Kill as many Westerners as you can and you will go to heaven\" is in the Koran. Ironic, huh? If it\'s not IRA threatening to blow us up, it\'s Al-Quaeda. (BTW, you Americans do know that for quite some time, you were paying the IRA to help them blow us up through taxes?)

Although that\'s probably the real reason why they want to kill Westerners, it\'s not how he gets followers. That\'s different. He uses excuses. Ie, Isreal. Many people (myself included) aren\'t happy about USA giving money to the Isrealies who took over the palistinian land and claimed it for thier own. This US funding is used for the suppression of the palistinions. The palistion suicide bombers attack Isreal to get their land back. The Isrealies attack them so they can kepp their stolen land. Osama binladen uses this to his advantage. As long as still exists, Al-Quaeda will always have followers.

Saddam Heusein. Bush should never have toppled him. I\'m not saying he\'s a nice person. He isn\'t. He\'s a git. And he\'s cruel at that. However, all the reasons for him toppleing him are wrong and he knew this. Saddam did have WOMD but he wouldn\'t use them on America. He hated Al-Quaeda as much as the next man. In fact he probably hated them more! Why? He was a dictator. He ruled by force. What dictators don\'t like are extremest religious groups. He had everyone behave roughly the same whether they be Jews, Muslim, Christian whatever! The reason for this is that where there\'s religion there\'s power and where there\'s power there\'s something to use to topple the dictator. The last thing he would be allied with would be an Islamic extremest group such as Al-Quaeda. As for where the weapons are? He\'s not stupid enough to leave them in his own country. He\'d put them in a neighbouring country. One that he\'d allied with, obviousely.

96=5Million in Mexico? That\'s nothing. 60 Million in Britain and Britain is a mere spec above mainland Europe on the map!

The Israel thing, well, the Israelites used to live there, but were scattered in AD 70. All they want, is the land that they were kicked out of. Now, I think they should share the land. Both are tehnically entitled to it. The problem is both the Temple/Mosque, and Yassir Arafat.

Look man, he wouldn\'t put it in his neighboring country. There\'s not proof. Besides, if you didn\'t know, Iran and Iraq had one of the biggest wars. There were millions killed on both sides, and the war lasted eight years. I doubt he would put it there. Tough security, too. I would know, I\'m Iranian, and I went there for a 2 month trip.

Anyway, I\'m sad that all those people died, adn it\'s true, they will never come back, but doing this every year... And with no proof that Americans didn\'t do it themselves?

Well, they wouldn\'t know if any Americans helped them. How do you think they hijacked the plan? It isn\'t easy, since America does have one of the best security.

What? I said ONE of the neighbouring countries. I know you\'re Iranian. I never said Iran. I wasn\'t talking about Iran!

That country \'Isreal\' was created around 60 years ago during the war by the Americans. It was originally a safe place for the Jews to go to escape Hitlar in WWII and the Jews are still there.

Besides that\'s not the point. Al-Quaeda are throwing oil on the fire to try to get people on their side.

Oh, BTW, France was against the war in Iraq as Saddam Heusein owed them money and now they\'ll never get their money back.

So here\'s how the terroism thing is:

America is fighting Terrosism because of 9/11.

UK is fighting Terroism because Tony Blair is George. W. Bush\'s areselick.

Russia is fighting Terroism because they\'ve had a taster of it themselves with the Czechnian rebels in the Beslan school ant the theatre in 2002.

And then there was the bombs outside the Autsralian embassy not long ago.

I understad that these are not from the same group, but they are all (except maybe UK) victims of terroism. Even a few Britains were killed in the Hijacked trans-atlantic flights which raised the Twin-Towers to the ground.

To be quite frank, neither do I. They\'ve done enough damage to that reagion as it is. Personally, I think that Bush has done too much damage. I dread to think what the world would come to if he were given another term in office.

Well. I\'d like to see him in office just to clean up the mess he made. I\'d hate to have another person having to clean up his mess.

Now, I can sympathise with all that have lost relations to the towers, but to pray and all that stuff gets to the point of being rediculouse. Myself, I have a grandfather that has died close to two years ago, and I don\'t really pray for him- the man\'s gone. Wherever he is, he is, whether it be ultimate good or evil, or not even existing at all- it really doesn\'t matter.

What people have to do is remember the person for what they DID...not how they died. I remember my grandfather for being a good person and kind to all, not for having a heart attack.

\"Remember not the way they died...remember the way they lived, and they shall never be forgotten.\"

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

I would prefer another man to clean up his mess because Bush might leave the existing one and go create another one. Or make this one worse. I fear for what he may do. He\'s more dangerouse than Saddam Heussein ever was.

I don\'t think he will attack Iran as he did Iraq unless you have a harsh dictator with ability to do great harm to Isreal. It is what he\'ll do with the rest of the world which worries me. America is very great and very powerful. He\'s already demonstrated what a chimp such as himself would do with that power with the Iraq war. He is dangerouse.

Although, for his stupidity, he has done a very clever, yet very old, trick. He has created a war with instability in another country just in time for the elections. This means that this is the prime thing to be talking about in the elections. It means that other things that he\'s done nothing about, such as the econemy and education are pretty much overlooked. Margret Thatcher (now Barroness Margret Thatcher) did the same when she was losing power in the late seventies/early eighties. Ironic, huh? A major milestone event in British history. The first female Prime Minister does so many bad things and leaves everything in dissarray. Take school dinners, for example. She abolished the school meals with proper things for making the food. Sacked all the skilled dinnerladies and abolished all the kitchens. In this meal/ kids were getting a decent balanced meal wich was healthy and yummy with nice jam rolly-polly and everything. Now, the schools which do have some school dinners, the choice is sausage, chips or pizza. All come off the back of a lorry frozen and just need to be dunked in oil for a bit (except perhaps the pizza). What\'s happenning now? Obeasity is a real problem in schools. She also closed all the mines (coal mines in Wales which could still be serving us well to this day) therefore unemployment was at an alltime high. That\'s what she got involed in a war for. Now George Bush Jr. has gone and covered himself in treacle, got the killar bees after him and brought them home for a cup of tea. Everyone is going to get it because of him. If we have seen the last of him, we\'ve already seen too much!

I think that this discussion should go whither it will as it evolves and moves on. It makes an interesting discussion and we\'ve already said all we want to say about the event itself to the point of repeating ourselves. Now lets talk about the aftermath and the election. You know it makes sence!

alright, firstly, you will never see anything bad about kerry on the news, since the f****ing media is democratic

secondly, Kerry has cheated and lied in his military record, and hasnt earned a few of the medals

thirdly, he is exactly, i repeat, EXACTLY like bill clinton, and he will bring all the soldiers out of iraq, and the evil iraqi leaders will come back into power, and will destroy the US, and what will Kerry do? NOTHING BUT SIT ON HIS UGLY WHITE A**!

fourthly, the soldiers are in iraq not for a war, but to catch osama your mama bin ladin, and to make sure the radical iraqis dont take over and attack us....AGAIN!!

fifthly, the soldiers know what is going on, and Bush knows whats going on, but kerry has no idea what the hell is going on in iraq, since he is probably just another pot-smoking, hooker lovin, lying cheating bastar*!

(i am quoting my best freinds dad who was injured in iraq and has come home, and however many soldiers have been killed, 2xs that number of radical iraqis have been killed that were attacking our troops)

NO!! bush will not CREATE or RUIN the \"mess\" that is happening... the mess is happening because we are trying to help the country of iraq.....true, mabye i should make a topic about bush and kerry

so anyways, there was a special that showed EVERYTHING that was happening. people jumping out windows and hitting building, onlookers, firemen, cars, and anything else that was in the way.....and the year before, we were supposed to move to NY, and my father is a paramedic, and he was about to move and transfer to the same station that lost over 20 firfighters.......i cant imagine my dad being gone too...... im welling up right now, cuz one of my friends parents were one of the ones who was taped jumping out the building
