Personally, I don\'t like calling French Fries with with the French part. Only because they have nothing to do with France though; I have a suspicion this is the same with Belgian waffles.

Belgian waffles..not sure. But all of our foods and culture (the US, I\'m talkin about here) were adapted from other countries, so you never know.
