Hi!

What do you think the meaning of your life is.

I think I know the answer for most people, but I\'ll se what your ideas are, first.

I have actually found what I think is the most correct explenation for the meaning of life: \"there is no meaning of life, but there is meaning to your life\"

I guess that\'s what I try to live by.

Yes, and no. Yes, there is meaning to every individual\'s life, but there is also a general meaning. A meaning which almost every individual shares. No matter who you are, the meaning is probably the same. That meaning is Fornication. Sex. I believe the meaning of life to to have at least one child to extend your familie\'s line to carry on the life of the species. It only takes two people, a male and a female to bring back the human race when all others are dead. Yes, there would be some in breeding, but it would be nessecary to bring back all life. Besides, it\'d be no different to being an aristocrat, anyway! As long as there is fertile fornication, the Human race will live on. Look at the Einglish royal family. It went from William I in 1066, down all the way to Richard III in 1483. Then another family came and it went from Henry VII in 1486 to James II. Then, Parliament got the lines messed up and it gets confusing which line is which. However, From all the time, 1066 to 1685, only two families ruled (not including Cromwell who ruled from 1649-1660)

Remeber, when you fornicate, you are helping the Human race move on through the ages.

The only exception to this is if you happen to be infertile. In which case, I\'m sorry.

Yeah, think if we were mayfly\'s or luna moths...

Mayflys (I think it\'s them) only live for a day, to breed and that\'s it. No mouth parts so they can\'t eat or drink. Just breed. I guess they certainly know their meaning of life!

Luna moths, after they\'re moths anyway, don\'t have mouth parts either. They store up fat as caterpillars, and stay alive in moth form enough to breed, and die off.

Sometimes you\'ve gotta wonder why a creature has to live a life like that.. But I guess they just provide food for something else.

In the grand scheme of things, I do think that\'s all earth\'s creatures are meant for. Live, breed, die.

But hey, we\'re different. We have a choice if we want to breed or not, we aren\'t food for any other animal, we have long lives.. Not like a turtle but yeah.

So anyways..I think, if people think about it, they all have their individual meanings of life. I, for example, feel as if I was put here to make people happy. It\'s silly, yes, but I get such a grand feeling knowing I\'m making someone happy. So I set out to purposefully do that.

What is life?
It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.
-- Crowfoot Blackfoot

Life has no meaning unless one lives it with a will, at least to the limit of one\'s will.
-- Paul Gauguin

Life is just a chance to grow a soul.

Life is rather like a tin of sardines - we\'re all of us looking for the key.
-- Alan Bennett

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.
-- Anais Nin

Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.

Life is a succession of moments. To live each one is to succeed.

Life is not a spectacle or a feast; it is a predicament.

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
-- H. W. Longfellow.

Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn!
Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And To-morrow is only a Vision;
But To-day well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!
-- Kalidasa

Where there is love there is life.
-- Mahatma Gandhi

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures. It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers. It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth and of death, in ebb and in flow. I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life. And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.
-- Rabindranath Tagore, from Gitanjali

Life is a train of moods like a string of beads; and as we pass through them they prove to be many colored lenses, which paint the world their own hue, and each shows us only what lies in its own focus.

Life has a meaning if your willing to live for it, it has a meaning if you make it have one such as the one you love, or, for say, your special person as in, brother, sister, etc....We all have a meaning in life if you find it, like, Mega X\'s meaning could be to save someone in days to pass when he can or at the right time, and place. Though I\'m not in the mood to type much.

Me? Save someone? I doubt it, yet if I was able to... If was given the choice... If I had the opportunity... Yeah, I\'ve been trying to find meaning in my life.

It took a while, and I\'m still not quite sure. I look at my friends, and even though we\'re young, they have an idea of what they\'re here for. I think I have an idea.

I\'ve noticed, that I have a tendancy to make people happy, to laugh. I know I\'m not so funny on this board. I\'m two different people, and I\'m not sure which is the real me. Maybe they both are.

I guess...I\'ll have to wait and see.

Couple of guys sittin\' around drinkin\'
Down at the Starlight Bar
One of \'em says, \"You know I\'ve been thinking\"
Other one says, \"That won\'t get you too far\"
He says, \"This is your life, and welcome to it
It\'s just workin\' and drinkin\' and dreams
Ad on TV says \'Just Do It\'
Hell if I know what that means\"

The secret of life is a good cup of coffee
The secret of life is keep your eye on the ball
The secret of life is a beautiful woman
And Marilyn stares down from the barroom wall

\"You and me, we\'re just a couple of zeros
Just a couple of down-and-outs
But movie stars and football heroes
What have they got to be unhappy about?\"
So they turn to the bartender, \"Sam, what do you think?
What\'s the key that unlocks that door?\"
Sam don\'t say nothin\', just wipes off the bar
And he pours them a couple more

\'Cause the secret of life is in Sam\'s martinis
The secret of life is in Marilyn\'s eyes
The secret of life is in Monday Night Football
Rolling Stones records and Mom\'s apple pie

Sam looks up from his Sunday paper
Says, \"Boys, you\'re on the wrong track
The secret of life is there ain\'t no secret
And you don\'t get your money back\"
Hey

The secret of life is gettin\' up early
The secret of life is stayin\' up late
The secret of life is try not to hurry
But don\'t wait
Don\'t wait

The secret of life is a good cup of coffee
The secret of life is keep your eye on the ball
The secret of life is to find the right woman
The secret of life is nothin\' at all
Oh, it\'s nothin\' at all
The secret of life

Couple of guys sittin\' around drinkin\'
Down at the Starlight Bar
One of \'em says, \"You know I\'ve been thinking\"
Other one says, \"That won\'t get you too far\"

Ugh. To think I was born with the sole purpose of knocking up some girl just to have a kid and then I\'m done. X_x No no. I like to think not.

If you want my opinion, the thing people want the most is to live on... I\'m not talking like, immortality... but something close to it. Take, for example, George Washington. The first real president of America. Now, he\'s long dead, and yet his memory remains... This is true immortality, and what humans strive to grasp everyday. We all want to acheive something amazing and spectacular, so that when the time comes that all civilization must die, people can look back and say, \"Ted... now there was a great man in history.\"

So, in a nutshell, the meaning of life is simply \"To live\", and to continue living. As long as we possibly can. In our everyday endeavors, and in the memories of those who will live long after us. That, to me, is the meaning of life.
