I was thinking about something while playing the MM8 boss fortress, which I can\'t get apast the first stage on.:lol: Why would Wily build that odd skating part at the front of his castle? Would it not be easier to defeat Megaman by simply constructing an enormous bottomless chasm? Then it occurred to me: Dr. Wily has to get in to his castle somehow right? But the whole idea of him on this skateboard is laughable.

Anywho, I just sort of thought after that, why not make a little car or something to get across? A jet plane perhaps? And then it hit me: Maybe the reason that part is there is because sometimes Wily misses his younger days and just wants to challenge himself and grind a bit. I mean, come on, Dr. Light and Wily have to miss their younger days occassionally. It\'s just odd that you never hear them talk about it. You never really hear Light give Megaman any scolding or anything, and you never hear Wily say \"whippersnappers\". They really just don\'t act that old...

I believe Wily has self-confidence problems, so he put that part in an effort to prove his superiority.

You know, like... here, I\'ll help you, and still win.

Ehehe, after all the losses, you\'d think he\'d have negative confidence issues. Like, building robots out of habit rather than actually believe they would conquer the world. But Wily perseveres!

Now that I think about, Dr. Light\'s pretty lazy in comparison to Wily. He only makes a few upgrades to Rush and Megaman, while Wily makes fortresses, armies, robot masters, etc. Dr. Light just got the only good robot.:D

Well, Doc, TenguMan and AstroMan can cheat the skate-course since they can FLY!!!!!!!!

I don\'t know if Wily thinks about his age......

He just builds inasne things.......

Remember that course in MM3 where the boss is Yellow Devil?

Maybe Wily was making a test ground for his Masters at first, but after they ALL passed, he modified it to be MegaMan-proof. Still, he made the floor all spikey and filledwith bear-traps to counter him, but he didn\'t know that Rush can morph into a JET-BOARD.

Then again, I guess Wily NEVER thought about his age.........

Ditto with Light.......

But Light made some stupid things, for example: the RushCycle is spike-vunerable. One jump while MegaMan\'s on it trying to go cross a spike pit........ and BLAM!!!!!!!!!!!

So did Wily.....he made some insane contraptions.....Wily, get a break and make a peanut-machine for crying out loud.......:rolleyes:

Cossack was the only sane doctor in the entire series, after MM4, he was sane.......:rolleyes:

Well, they really don\'t give us a year that the game takes place.. I mean.. 20XX could be 2099. The human life expectancy is constantly growing. By that time, maybe 60 is today\'s equivelant of 30? On the other hand, maybe Wily hopes that Light will teach Megaman to be a good boy, and that skateboarding is for gangsters... you don\'t want to be like a gangster, do you? XD Then, Mega wouldn\'t want to cross the skatepark.. But, unbeknownst to Wily, Mega is actually a closet skate-or-die champ, and grinds all the time behind Light\'s back.

Hopefully, it\'s like 2009. That be awesome, because the second I turn 18... uh, wait, I\'m thinking of MMBN. That be awesome.
