Ah, Harvest Moon. I only played the SNES version of the game when it originally came out. I didn\'t do too well overall on the farm, but I liked the game a lot (probably because I always wanted to work on a farm).

I kinda want to play Harvest Moon again. :)

ah...Harvest Moon...
I remember when I played it. But then, after I got married, my game screwed up....*sniff*
Say, what the heck is everyone\'s obsession with Earthbound? As far as I can see, it\'s really not that great of a game....except for when you get high in battle from the shrooms. that was about the only thing I see that was good about the game....

I\'m a Harvest Moon game fanatic (well, I call myself that ;^^). I played almost all of them except the one for 64, PS2, and upcoming Gamecube and GBA games.

One Harvest Moon game is enough and I think the best one out there is \"HM: Save the Homeland\" for the PS2, but the creator, or someone who takes control of the production, says that he is pouring his heart into \"HM: A Wonderful Life\" for Gamecube so probably the best game in the series (in my point of view) would change to that one although I do not like the GC...

My favorite one is HM: Back to Nature for PS1. It\'s graphics are so-so, the loading is okay (hey, it\'s better that the 64 version: one risk is of the game freezing when the screen it too active and in HM games, screens will be active), and there are not as much characters to talk to as the 64 version (ya, the PS version has less characters but its better than the 64 version\'s \"robot\", low AI characters) but I really like it although the weak spots.

My stats:
Year 3
Name: Alex
Dog: Pero (Does anyone know why I called him that? B; ) )
Wife: Elli
Son: Ashton
Chickens: 8 + 2 gold
Cows: 7
Sheep: 5
Fish: 53
Extras: Has hothouse, fishing rod, a full kitchen, one photo, and good friends with Kai (really hard to do since you see him only one month in the year).

That\'s enough with my ranting. ^_^

I\'ve only played the SNES version.. Cute game, and I like it alot..I just don\'t do as well with it as I do with Sim games.

I like the courting chicks deal..because I\'m cheap and can get the chick that\'s..cheapest.

Know what I liked? When you could use a gameshark and have maybe 3 wives at once.

So, I got to have one in the house, one making berry juice, and one folding clothes!

So much fun!

I\'m a bit curious, just how many Harvest Moon games are there? I only knew of two (one that came out for the SNES, and another that was released for the GameBoy)...

I think the two mentioned and an N64 one and another Gameboy one. Can\'t be sure though.

Sorry.....too much sugar and a lack of sleep....

But it STILL is fun!

I have a problem with the game. I get married once with one person, and then when I walk into the middle of my grass field, I end up in the chicken coop! HELP!

(and yes, it still happens when I didn\'t or don\'t cheat!)

I like Harvest Moon.

My favorite from the series was the N64 one. I dunno, I just had alot of fun with this game when it first came out. The SNES one is alright, but I tried it after I played the N64.

I\'ve never played the PSX one, but I have played the PS2 one. To be honest, I felt it was a disappointment. They took out some key elements that made the previous fun; there is no marriage, there is no festivals or special days. Just events that happen, that depend on what you do. Plus, it ends as soon as you get an ending, and you restart in Spring. I still haven\'t seen past Summer in the game.

I was wondering if I should buy StH. I\'ll take under consideration what you said. ^_^

If you don\'t like the PS2\'s game, you probably would not like the GBA one coming up. I read it\'s about the main character (to the sound and looks of it, a young kid) running a farm and going to school in the city. What\'s up with sim schools anyway?

I hope they mistranslated but... screen shots usually don\'t lie... *shrugs*

Phatman, I never heard of that bug before...

Breakman, if you don\'t own Save the Homeland yet, and own a Gamecube, I\'d wait and see how A Wonderful Life goes. From what I\'ve heard and seen, it looks to be better that StlH, which felt abit lacking.

I don\'t have a GBA though, so it\'s not like I can comment on what it sounds like. =(

I usually marry Mary but in HMBN I married Elli. I have a hunch Marry is the person you suppose to marry in that game (remember in the beginning of the game that you made a promise to that girl in the past?)...

I never marry Ann. She could have her bar, drinks, and spa... (Long story... BP)
