Could you please explain just what this Longhorn thing is? I\'ve never heard of it at all. Is it a new version of Windows or something? Or an upgrade of some sort? A little more of an explanation is required for this topic to be fully comprehended.

Meh. The only reason I would get the new version is if it comes preloaded onto whatever laptop I manage to get my hands on. And since I\'m considering a Tablet Conversion MaBober the chances for that seem slim. Yay for backwater generation software!

It\'s not due out until sometime in 2006, so by then people will be able to run the thing anyway. All that is is an alpha version. Read the comments people:P

Yeah. But if it really is suppossed to have minium requirments of 4-6 GHz it will run perfect on the Pentium 5 chip, which is supposed to fly, initially, around 5-7 GHz. but then again if it is supposed to have minium requirments of 4-6 Ghz how will amd\'s be able to run it? Who know\'s:conf:

Sorry for the double post but I just downloaded all the stuff to make XP run like longhorn and it is REALLY cool. Even if you don\'t want it to look like longhorn I would download the SmartbarXP and atleast try it. It is one of the most usefull apps ever!
