Nah, I\'ve never believed in luck. I almost believe in Murphy\'s Law (whatever bad can happen will), but I don\'t think I believe that either. I prefer to look at things in terms of probabilities.:D

I make my own destiny. If something bad happens, luck has nothing to do with it. Everything happens for a reason. If I\'m \"lucky\" and do something right, I did it because I had the ability.

I\'m not quite sure if I believe in luck or not. If there is, then Fate can\'t make up its mind which kind (good or bad) I\'m supposed to have. It used to be if the first half of my day had a lot of bad luck, the second half would be filled with good luck, and vice versa. Then it went to good luck day, bad luck day, repeat. Now it\'s more like one week is filled with good luck, and the next bad, wash, rinse, repeat. But overall in my life, I think I\'ve had pretty good luck, if such a thing exists at all.

This is kind of tricky, but I think that luck is not really determined with good or bad but more like in an RPG the luck stat. Some people seem to have a higher incident of lucky occurrences, and some have lower. So with that it would stand to reason that everyone has luck, it\'s just not in the same sense that several of you seem to be talking about. if that makes sense at all...

I\'m thinking my beleif in \"probabilities\" may be just a tad unclear in my previous post. I\'ll explain.

The belief in probabilites, as opposed to fate/luck/Murphy\'s Law/etc., is a belief in the fact that every event that occurs as a specific percentage that it may or may not occur. How it does occur may be coined \"luck\" but does not depend on the modern idea of it. Many of these percentages are completely impossible to discover, however, they still do exist. They may be changed by any manner of stimulus. For instance, the probability that tickets come out of an arcade machine is inveritably tied to the ending score by programming. However, other stimuli effect it as well, such as loading more tickets int the machine, or even sometimes punching or kicking it.

Anyways, that\'s my beleif in fairly basic terms.

There is luck. If you happen to get the right circumstances, you can get lucky. However, i\'m usually not happy when I get lucky. Whenever I getl ucky it is balanced by a combination of misery and bad luck...

chances are that luck is not a physical thing but is dependent on your attitude, if you have a good one, chances are you\'ll porbably have good things happen to you. Im still looking into this

No I have good attitude for a 12 year old many bad things bad happends to me.

Maybe when someone says luck refeers to a point of view, if you had a bad day and something good happens to you, you may say it was luck

I like to think that I can control my life, but sometimes, I end up making stupid choices and have to suffer the consquences of it. On other hand, some of the choices would have been better than the others.

My head hurts.

When something unexpected happens that is in my advantage or disadvantage, I don\'t believe there\'s a centralized form of intelligence that has the intention to make it happen. I see it as results from some loose unfollowable particles that lead their own life.

So thinking that everything that happens are all good intentions of one or more forms of existence sounds outright naive to me...

In terms of controlling one\'s destiny, one needs only to change the probabilities that I just mentioned. However, anything that is 100% probable is fact. So therefore, the tue course of history is fact, but most likely not all recorded factually, so these incorrect facts are 100% improbable. If one could retrace time, they would find that no matter how many times they did it, everyhting would occur exactly the same way it last did because it is now 100% probable that it will....

I don\'t believe in luck, but I suppose I do believe in chance. It\'s why I never play Blackjack for \"real\", I know the chance of me getting a good enough hand to get money in return is far too low.

But I love Blackjack, tis a shame.

I don\'t really believe in luck though, I\'m a weirdo and believe in fate.

if you have a fanatsy book (like magic n crap) is theres any luck in it then duh of course theres no such thing and if u got a magic book luck would be there so basicly there is no such thing as luck its only a rumor (like friday the 3th FAKE!)
