I found many ways to make chess interesting:

Game:
Chess, Knights Reign

same as regular chess but the knight is a little different

move 1: knight\'s crush

all peices in the knights way are destroyed<even your own>

move 2: knight\'s chain

you jump over peices like you usually do except you can only jump when there is a peice on that spot u are moving on. if there is another peice you can jump to on your next turn you can do that now and again and so on

move 1 CONS: knights crush can only kill a king if the king is in the last space of this move

move 2 CONS: knights chain can not affect a king

Cons: u must sacrafice a pawn every time u jump with a knight

Nightmares are dreams that need re-coding.

For reference:
The knight looks like a horse.
The castle is the rook.
The tall but not fancy one is the bishop.
The tiny little ones are pawns.
And I get the king and queen mixed up sometimes too. :D;

The king is the one with a cross on the crown. The queen is the one without it.

right ^_^\'

Anyway here\'s a new one

game: pins and needles

rules: both players start out with only pawns, u may set them up any where u like on your side of the board<minus one row[like checkers]>

pawns may move in any direction and attack in any direction<only one space>

when a pawn goes all the way to the other side of the board you may take a bishop, knight, or a rook out. if u wish to take another peice<bishop, rook, or knight, no other peices> that pawn u got the first peice with must stay where it is until you get your next peice. u may keep doing this until you move one of the pawns that u won a peice with.<you can only do this once in the game.

the pieces u won must go on your side of the board on the very end <u may move them on your next turn>

only one peice can be moved per turn<no passes>

if u are cofused about one of the rules just ask me to explain it more clearly to you<use the quote option so i know which rule>
