I am sorry if this makes anyone mad, but personally, I think they should call Zelda quits. I am tired of seeing Link coming in to save the damsel in distress over, and over.....
Don\'t get me wrong, they game itself is cool, but the storyline is mostly boring....

I really think that Zelda should continue as long as videogames are being made. The ending of it would cause riots in the streets, wars between videogame extremists (no one would get since most videogame extremists aren\'t very strong from sitting around all day), and, somehow, the end of America as we know.

Okay, so that last part was a bit exaggerated, but I\'m just trying to stress how important the Zelda series is to videogames. It\'s one of the most beloved series ever to come across videogame screens.

I think they should as long as they change the story-line. I mean look at the graphic development it could be turned into a cool adventure hack-and-slash game introduce some new weapons and I would definetly buy it.(if i had the system)

you\'re right proto it\'s a really good game but the storyline is totaly boring. Why does they not that all the people in the world becomes monsters accapt one little boy that even can\'t hold a sword up.

Zelda games will last forever and taking them away would be like taking away nintendo\'s mascot Mario.
Although he is always saving the princess developers are actually moving link away from that as seen in majoras mask.
But it could use different plots(not link trying to get girls ) but a sensable RPG plotline.

Actually, Nintendo has shown a remarkable ability to stray from that plot and still have an amazing game. I am, of course, talking about Link\'s Awakening and Majora\'s Mask.

Granted, these great games were under-appreciated by little punks who don\'t understand epic stories, and as these whiny little n00bs, make up a large percentage of Zelda fans, this probably dissuaded Nintendo from thinking outside the box.

To clarify, no one on this board is one of those whiny punks. You are all, mature enough ( I hope) to appreciate drama, and originality.

The story in the Zelda series have never been particularly strong; infact, the story has always been abit cliche. Zelda does not revolve around it\'s storyline however, so I don\'t feel the series should end because the it never does anything new with the story. When it comes down to gameplay, Zelda is, at least in my opinion, the frontrunner in it\'s genre. Until the gameplay drops below par, I\'d like to see more installments be made.

I think they should continue making them. Obviously they are breaking grounds in animation with the series, as the big-headed cel-shaded link is now a popular staple for Nintendo. Apperantly it also has no shortage of fans. I don\'t play em anymore though. They\'ve always been tough for me...

And redeads scare the mess out of me. Or, they used to.:D
