The Associated Press
MARYVILLE, Mo. - Authorities Friday arrested a woman they allege came to the home of an eight-months-pregnant woman — purportedly to buy a dog — then strangled her and cut the baby from her womb. Authorities found the abducted infant in good health, ending a day of frantic searching.

The woman was murdered at her home in teeny tiny Skidmore, MO... this place is about a fifteen minute drive from my own hometown. Skidmore, for being so tiny, certainly seems to have a lot of problems... There was also the infamous McElroy shooting, which documented in the book In Broad Daylight. It\'s scary... all the stuff that happens in little towns.. the stuff that happens near to you...

Creepy. In the state I live in, a few years ago, some guy locked his daughter in the stove. He put a chair in front so she couldn\'t get out, ans turned it on. HE COOKED HER ALIVE! Sick really. I heard somewhere there was a lady who had drown five of her kids in the bath tub because a voice told her they were possessed or something. Scary...

A gun cannot defend. Can only attack.

Ah, but as a good defense can be the best offense, so can a good offense be the best defense.

Actually, I\'ve had something happen right next door. Dude murdered his wife in a marital spat and I think he dumped her in his backyard. When they went to fix his septic tank, they found the body. He bolted, however, and We\'ve never heard from the dude again.

Then there\'s the marital spat down the street, wherein one of the parents beat the other to the verge of death- the kid was beat too, but got away before the full wrath was instilled. He was locked away, and they moved out.

Like you said, it\'s funny how things like that happen.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Pfft.

Try living in a city where a Serial Killer is still around and you never know when he\'s gonna strike.
